    Really? That's pretty interesting...I wonder if Dallas went with him to pick one out, (not sure how much Bono knows about guitars ) Is Bono becoming The Boss? BRING BACK THE RED 335!!!!


  3. Yes yes of course, they're much more representative of The Edge style and career! I'll give you that any day. But I meant the guitar alone, on its own.... not many guitars look better than that cherry Gretsch, Harry, you can't deny that


    I don't have heard anything about that Tele thing but I wouldn't be surprised. Bono loves guitars, he has told it several times. If only he knew how to play them..........

  5. I always joke about that, although I know perfectly he isn't that bad. He can play virtually everything he needs/wants to, better than most of the people think.

  6. My favorite of Edge's guitars is one of his least used.. the MirrorBall Les Paul.

    As for Bono's possible guitar purchasing... cool. He has quite a few guitars, I wonder why he only uses his "The Goal is Soul" Gretsch nowadays. It's cool, but it would be nice to see him flaunt his wealth at least.

    Haha, nah I know, I was just jumping on it anyway that little melody he plays in that version of RTSS in one of the Point Depot shows is magical. Simple, yet beautiful.

    He maybe able to play everything that he needs, but I am not really sure about the "everything he wants".
  9. Bono is an okay guitarist, he could help on more songss if he wanted to and worked on it, there are some versions such as one from rotterdam in 92 where you can see he can be helpful. I wish he would bring the dotted popmart LP back, or his shiny blue one, those were so cool just like adam´s lime bass.

    I've been searching on the internet for the type of Ibanez Tubescreamer that edge uses.
    But I can't figure out if he uses a ts9 or the original ts. Is there any hard evidence of what he actually uses available?

    Ok I made a little mistake....I ment to ask if anyone knows which issue of the TS9 edge uses. I assume he uses the original 1981-1984 issue....but, does anyone know for sure?
