1. I only speak of gear I've personally tried
  2. Then I'd very much appreciate if you could tell me what you thought about the thing that's important to a U2 fan... the echo
  3. Well, echo/delay is easily emulated with any of those I pointed out, even with lower-end pedalboards like the one I own myself (Digitech RP-50). Nevertheless, if you want to have a PROPER delay unit, the Boss pedal is excellent: http://www.u2start.com/topic/363/381115/#381115

Do you know if it is possible to have multiple delays with the Boss ME-70, like you need for Streets?

I think so, but I am not sure. Maybe Google it, I don't have the time... But it's worth every penny. Line 6 products are better as a whole but more expensive and less easy to customize - I think.
  6. I wonder how lacking the Boss ME-25 is compared to the ME-70... saw in that link that Joe has an ME-25.
  7. The ME-70 is more complete in terms of the number of different presets you can set up. I have a close friends who has used the ME-70 in some live shows (ME-70, a guitar and an amp - that's all) and he's completely satisfied with it. I have only tried the ME-25 a couple of minutes but it just didn't feel so easy to use (it only has 3 pedals as far as I can remember, one for effect up, one for effect down and the solo-ing one). The delay is harder to use too, in the ME-75 is almost as precise and easy to config as on the separate pedal
  8. You mean ME-70, right?
  9. Yes
  10. I did the same mistake earlier, hehhehe.

    The Line6 HD500 is teeeeeeeeeeeemptiiiiiiing.
