1. I find the ME-25 pretty easy to use, takes getting used to but so does everything else. I got Streets sounding fairly spot on, not perfect but passworthy.

Hello Joe! Would you recommend it? Also... can you get the COBL shimmer out of it (I'm in love with that sound)?
  3. I would recommend it, obviously if the ME-70 is in your budget it'd be logical to get it but the 25 does everything you need really. It kind of does shimmer, you've to push your effect pedal over and back as you change chord but you can get the general sound of it.
  4. I think I could get just about anything (I'm gonna wish for this instead of an iPhone that dad said I would get if I wanted it)... But I still do consider the price and if I really need it and all that... it has to be justified.

Anyone know anything about the Line6 Floor Pod Plus? Or know anything else?

could you please post your settings if you have them handy?
  7. I've been using the Line6 M-models (The M9 in my bedroom and the M13 with my band). I don't need the amp models and pedal that comes with the HD500, as it has the same effects that the (cheaper) M-models come with. If you're just looking for effects and don't need amp modelling I'd say go for the M9 or M13, but if you're looking for the most variety you can get go for the HD model. I HAVE heard of a bunch of problems occuring with the new HD500 though, but perhaps those have been patched since its release.

    Just keep doin' research!
  8. The M13 is even more expensive than the HD500

    Wow really? That's odd...

You could go for the M9, that's what I use most of the time, can't complain, does everything I need it to.
  10. So, I think I've decided to get one of the cheaper multi-effects that don't know how to do everything. I think I just don't deserve some big fancy thing yet, maybe in a few years or if I become part of a band.

Boss ME-25 vs Vox Tonelab ST?
  11. I haven't tried the Vox and my experience with the Boss isn't enough to do a full judgement, but I liked very much what I tried on the ME-25 And I support your idea of getting a lower-end multi effect unit to start with, there's no sense to buy a 3073489573894 € unit if you're not going to use 95% of the options and stuff it comes with. You'll be happy enough with the Boss unit, I think!
