1. They're both excellent value for the price, but... Yeah, I think I'll take the slim one, it has integrated pickup and the cutaway, which are obvious advantages. The slimmer body will help too. The gorgeous one plays a little better (better action and -obviously- more resonance) but I can live with a little bit less sound greatness but quite a few playing advantages

PS. Did you see the flower-shaped tuning knobs? Holy shit. I'll regret not getting this

  2. Get both!

  3. My parents would probably kick me outta home if I get TWO additional guitars. They feel (and I think I can agree with them) that 6 guitars is more than enough, adding another one until 7 will be excessive, but 8 would be overkill

I can always hide one of them at some friends'...
  4. Hahaha, yeah that seems fair. Jesus, this will make 7? I struggle having to find something for 3 to do, 2 is where I'm happiest.
  5. Two electrics, three Spanish, one acoustic (12 strings)... I'm obviously lacking a 6-string acoustic, but I doubt they agree In all honesty, I must say that I only use 4 of them regullarly.

Right on! I wasn't counting my acoustc, which I use on a semi-regular basis. I'm done for guitar stuff for a good while now though!
  7. Thanks Sergio... Now I can feel good about getting more guitars xD I only have four (two electrics, two acoustics) and a ukulele (and a Russian balalaika thing). I'll probably sell my Epi LP though.

Just ordered tubes for my amp! Dad convinced me to wait with ordering a speaker 'til I've heard the new tubes in the stock speaker. How boring of him . But perhaps wise, I don't think I can resist a speaker if I'm not totally amazed by the amp with new tubes though.
  8. Maybe buying a new amp would have been quicker, easier and cheaper...

  9. It would've been more expensive. I may have still ended up wanting to upgrade something... And it probably would've taken a long time too.
  10. I may be able to get a Korg A3 for a very decent price.
  11. Are you fucking kidding me right now
  12. Picked up my tubes and changed them today. For any Europeans interested; http://www.tube-town.net/index.html seems to be a good site.

And for anyone interested, here's what I put in my Peavey Valveking 112:

    Pre-amp tubes: V1: Tung Sol 12ax7 V2: JJ 5751 V3: Sovtek 12ax7 LPS (Long Plate Structure)

Power Tubes: JJ 6L6GC (TT tone selection for Peavey amps with fixed bias)

And I have normal JJ 12ax7 tubes to try too, and a JJ 12au7 (lower gain) that I could try, but it's really intended for a pedal I hope to get for christmas.
