1. It's a Lake Placid Jaguar (wonderful one!). Edge plays it on the Electrical Storm video (although it's black and white there). Go around the 3:05 mark to see it, not sure if it apears earlier in the vid too.

  2. He possibly bought it around the Elevation Tour era, possibly in New York. And possibly in 48th Street Custom Guitars, as seen on this video (5:35 onwards, after he plays the Streets riff on a Jazzmaster at Rudy's):

  3. ^ sweet, cheers for the info sergio. he definitely should bring it out more often!
  4. Actually pulled the trigger on some stuff yesterday. A new speaker for my Peavey Valveking 112 amp, the Warehouse Guitar Speakers Retro 30. Heard loads of good things about it and it sounds good on demos I've heard. I'm hoping it's quite the upgrade. Will report when I put it in.

Kind of leaning a little towards the Strymon Timeline. Hopefully I can get to try one soon. Wanna see how it is at U2 sounds, it seems really cool, but I almost wonder if it could be "too hi-fi" for U2 sounds. Also want to hear that the repeats fade out in the way I want them to, that's my biggest issue with the Boss DD-20, it feels like the repeats get weak a little too quickly and that when you want a decently powerful second repeat, you get too many repeats afterwards. On the internet I've discovered I'm not alone in thinking soo. It ruins U2 sounds a bit.
  5. So you FINALLY bought that speakers - it was just about time, you had been telling us for months I hope you like them.

Regarding the delay, I know what you mean regarding the Boss - it happens with a lot of other delays. I didn't find that to be a problem with mine (Boss PS-2 - best pedal I have, both manual delay and manual pitch shifter), but then again I end up playing with multiproccessors most of the time and delays there are absolutely customizable number by number, so...

fender jaguars are my favourite guitars ever and i've never seen edge with one apart from in this picture.

I think Edge used a Fender Jaguar (Lake Placid Blue) on a regular base for the live performance of Discothèque and If Your Wear That Velvet Dress during the PopMart Tour.

I think it was a Fernandes.

Yeah, glad I finally did. If I'm lucky it'll arrive from Germany on Friday, otherwise it's next week.

The DD-20 has quite a lot of options, it's a good pedal, but when I get my money from my summer job, I'll have quite the budget and figured that since among the best things ever, I'll treat myself to one of the best delay pedals... And that's pretty much the Strymon Timeline or the Eventide TimeFactor.
  9. Memory Man, Memory Man, Memory Man, Memory Man

  10. I recently checked out a Fernandez with a sustainer, not a bad guitar at all. I would say a great guitar to own in an Edge focused collection (next to for example a Les Paul and a Rickenbacker). It could replace the ubiquitous strat.

I would have to go find a Japanse made Fernandez though, the one I played was Korean, iirc:

Fernandez, interestingly, do a "Vertigo" model:
    http://www.fernandesguitars.com/vertigo/vertigo-elite-jp.html
but with EMGs so not particularly Edge like.

Their most strat like, Japanese model is this one:

The sustainer will make WOWY, TUF, and LIB easy.
