Same price. Free shipping plus per there website:

"Why buy your new Vox AC-50CP2 Classic Plus Amplifier from North Coast Music?

Free shipping within the continental United States

Have you heard about shipping horror stories from other stores? We overpack and double box every AC-50CP2 ampliifier prior to shipment..

Your choice of brown or black Vox diamond grill cloth at no additional charge to you.

We charge no state sales tax on amps shipped outside of WI

Tubes that are microphonic are replaced before shipment

We check the reverb pan for shipping inbound shipping damage and we replace the reverb pan if necessary before we ship the amp to you.

Every AC-50CP2 bench tested and burned in for twenty four hours prior to shipment to help eliminate potential "infant mortalities." Specifically, this test is performed in six stages, each four hours long, to further simulate real world usage.

Every amp performance tested for proper operation and inspected for rips in the vinyl or defective hardware personally by DoctorVox at North Coast before shipment, defective units rejected and not shipped to the customer, who else does that?

We do all in our power to deliver you a perfect amp, not just ship you an unopened and untested factory box, as most others do."

I've always said if I were to get a Vox I'd get it from these guys. They really seem to know their product.

    Done.

Nice catch man, thanks for looking out . I also like supporting a smaller outfit rather than a powerhouse like Musician's Friend (no disrespect to them though). I can't wait to get my Vox!

50W on that thing must be enought to bring the house down! And the distortion is awesome!

No problem! Be sure to let us know how everything goes. It seems like they'll really give you the white glove treatment.
  4. Ok, here's another Q. for you Jeff, or anyone else in the mood to answer - what guitars has Edge used for 11 O'Clock over the years?

From what I've seen, he alternated between the blackie Stratocaster and the Explorer in the 80s, during the Elevation era he stuck to his 'Splorer from what I gather. I could easily be wrong about this though.
  6. No, indeed he used mainly theGibson Explorer he used for I Will Follow throughout the tours. The famous one:

Love that guitar. Someone here was given one like that by his girlfriend... Maaannn I want one

Mostly the Explorer from what I've seen. I will have to investigate a bit more... but every time I've seen him play it or seen any footage of Edge playing that song... It's been the Explorer.

Video of 11 o'clock tick tock with the Explorer

    Berlin 1981

    NY 1981

    Hattem 1982

    Red Rocks 1983

    Black Strat
    Rockskilde 1982

As you can see... overwhelmingly, "11 O'clock Tick Tock" seems to have been played on the Explorer

Partially true. The Edge has used the Explorer for "I Will Follow" more often than not but...

Actually, Edge used the yellow Clapton for "I Will Follow" during the Love Town tour:

And the auctioned 1975 Les Paul Custom during Pop Mart:

Also used what appear to be the 1973 Les Paul Custom at Geleen, Holland,1981

    EDIT
Seems he used the Les Paul on The Electric Co. during Geleen too - probably happy to be using a new toy.

T'is my former girlfriend (still best friend) Melissa that bought me my 1976 Gibson Ltd Ed. Explorer - same make, model and vintage as our guitar hero.

    [beams proudly]

That is the crown jewel of my guitar collection.
