    I think its a Grestech, but sure of the exact model, and I think it was played on Please and COBL

    That there is a Gretsch Country Gentleman. And he's playing "City Of Blinding Lights". If you have the Vertigo Live in Chicago DVD - it's the first guitar Edge uses in that show.

    I think its a Grestech, but sure of the exact model, and I think it was played on Please and COBL


    He used a 1964 or 65 on Please. That one died in the flood. The one used for COBL is a 1963 model.

    Dave is playinjg a Jerry Jones baritone guitar. Edge is playing a Gibson Music Rising Les Paul Standard.

    Gorgeous guitar it is. Never paid much attention to Chicago DVD. Moreover I haven't seen it in ages, and probably last time I saw it I didn't even know what a Fender or a Gibson was ¬¬

  10. There is a Country Gentlemen for sale at my local music store for like 2500 or something. Beautiful guitar, i said to my dad "That right there is one of my dream guitars" and he looked at the price and went "yea you're going to have to work a little more for that one haha". Anyway, awesome looking guitar.
