1. I play a H&K Tubeman through an 18 watt class A power head and a Celestion Vintage 30. Couldn't be more versatile. Additionally I use a Danelectro mini floorboard with autowah, vibrato, tremolo, reverb and delay. During a worship set I always have my slide and my E-bow handy, just in case the spirit comes crashing in and we happen to start jamming on stage.

My main guitar is a strat that I assembled from a MIM deluxe ash body, a Highway1 rosewood neck, a Wilkinson 2- point tremolo, two texas special single coils and a Little 59. Sounds beautiful.

Wow. Man, that's totally cool you built your own strat. Awesome man. I love the highway1 necks, they have a great feel to them. Post some pics man!

By the way Alex, my name is also Alex. Haha.

Marshall's are good for some things. Hi-Watts for others... but the Vox AC30TB is pretty versatile.

Although, obviously... I would love to have one of each and a Fender Deluxe and a Fender Bassman and a...

I tried a Bassman the other day at Guitar center...incredible! Yeah my ultimate rig would be my new AC50, a Bassman and a nice Marshall, maybe a Crate too.

Here's one of a conference service I've been playing in.

Assembling a strat from parts isn't much more difficult than assembling LEGO bricks. Try it once with cheapo parts, then you can do it yourself forever. Building your own body, neck, fretboard is much more difficult. So I don't do that.

    Cool stuff Alex

A friend from my old high school built his own guitar for a DT project from scratch, said it's the heaviest thing he's ever played lol! But it's perfectly functional which is the main thing, just slightly impractical

Liking the Strat. Nick! Squier or Fender (or anything else for that matter!), a black and white Strat. is definitely iconic
  11. Nick, nice guitars! I don't even own an acoustic, that's one of the higher things on my list of "Things to Buy". I think it's time for an amp upgrade though man!!! Unless you're happy with that one, it's all about whether or not you're happy with the sound of your gear, not how expensive it is or the brand name.

And Harry, the black and white definitely is ironic, I also just bought a new strat and I ordered it in black and white!!! But I will be making it a blackie

Thanks Harry! The only thing I dislike abt my Strat (Squier btw) is that is dosen't have a tremolo bar, and it has a rosewood fret board
