1. I've modified this topic's title, as Oasis is now gone (for the moment?) and the Gallagher bros are playing and touring on each own!
  2. saw Beady Eye headline Leeds, i'm not a huge fan of their album but they put on a hell of a live show. Liam had the crowd in the palm of his hand the whole time.
  3. saw a live show of these guys from a few years back the other night on mtv, really liked it so i decided i'll give them a listen. whats some songs that i should be listening too. All i know atm is Morning Glory, Wonderwall and champagne supernova.
  4. AWESOME new single from Noel
  5. Two nights for Noel in Toronto. Words cannot describe my excitement

  7. just took the plunge and bought the beady eye record, i'm pleasantly surprised so far.

  8. Although Stop the Clocks has many great songs, way too many classics were missing. Fortunately, the majority of them turned up on the Time Flies... but then that compilation was missing many of the great songs from Stop the Clocks. Maybe they'll get it right the third time around.

For the record: Get BOTH Definitely Maybe and (What'sThe Story) Morning Glory. They both play like greatest hits albums.
  9. I never purchased Time Flies. I have everything on it of course but it looks like its got a nice mix of stuff. That's probably a good place to go if you can get ahold of it.

Not a bad mix but no: Rock and Roll Star, Slide Away, Morning Glory, CHAMPAGNE SUPERNOVA, Acquiesce, or The Masterplan. Listening to an Oasis compilation just doesn't seem right without these songs.
  11. Ya true. Didn't realize that it was only singles. The live show is a nice treat though. Features all those songs except Acquiesce. Still can't have a true understanding of Oasis without those songs I agree with you
  12. I listen to that live show quite frequently. It's great AND it includes R&R Star, Slide Away, Morning Glory, and Champagne Supernova. No Some Might Say, however. They didn;t play it very often in the 2000's which was a shame.
