1. Very nice. I dont feel like fixing my spelling error. I did it on purpose. YOU TOO can mispell words.

They put their money where their mouths are. No one has done more to raise awarness for poverty and AIDS in Africa than Bono. And The Edge was one of the most active people in helping New Orleans regain its identity after it was washed away by Katrina. Its a long cry from what you normally get. Criticism and finger pointing which leads to nothing. I also don't think that we have lost out on albums because they are so active. This is the biggest band in the world. That's what you do. Record. Tour for over a year across the world, and rest. They just happen to mix in a ton of good deeds while they aren't being U2.

The man here said everything for me!
I just want to point that the great message U2 give to world about helping people and being active in the important causes, is a beautiful message: that it's not important if you're a celebrity, no matter if what you do is reapeted by millions of people just because of WHO you are, the more you can, the more you must help the Planet and people! I wish every band would do the same

Rolling stones suck IMO. They are way over-rated, and I think the only reason they're so big is because they were the counter to the Beatles at the time, they were the yin to the beatles yang, but they for sure aren't as good as the beatles, or as everyone makes them out to be. They have some catchy tunes, but Mick Jagger sucks at singing, and when they all harmonize (or attempt to) it sounds like crap. But thats just my opinion.
The Who I agree with, rock gods. U2 are also in heaven with them. U2 aren't rock gods, but they are gods of their own type of music. Which is basically everything since they've experimented with so much.

The Rolling Stones created a song that was their own, which is very awesome. Mick Jagger can sing...... saying he can't is almost Jim Morrison couldn't sing. Harmonize? They're a rock band, not a pop band. Where is there a rule that says you have to have backup singers/sharing vocals with others? I can't see rock making it past the 60s without them.

    Hello there!
I'm happy for your welcome! And I'm happy to be back too
Hope you're having a great time friend!
    See you around...

    Cheers!
  6. U2 without politics may not be as appealing to me. I don't want every song to be in your face politics, but it makes me feel good that my favorite band not only speaks their minds about politics, but they actually do something to try and change the situation for the better.
  7. What if Bono became a painter as he mentions in U2 By U2...?
