1. I nominate "Beach Sequence."
  2. Just a quick update for anyone who's keen on being a part of all this.We are doing Sunday Bloody Sunday from Slane Castle version. Are there any guitar players who want to stick there hands up?As soon as i have the drums form BONODRUMS i'll record bass and pass it on.
  3. it will be about a week before i can do so. i will try to make some time. i will record the guitar also. i will also record the edges vocals. i should be able to this by friday.
  4. p.s scott call me sam lol
  5. I always get frustrated with the One intro. It's hard to nail the sound, and the Edge makes it look so damn easy. It's not that hard, but it's perfect when he plays it(obviously, he wrote the damn riff) but it's hard to get it down perfectly.

I say we all do one of the bigger ones. Bad or Streets.

    Alex

Wait, are we doing the Slane SBS? Because I don't want to have to tune my guitar down like a step and a half or whatever it is.
  6. Pity there isn't a Red Rocks backing track. Maybe once the dvd comes out some people will rip the song without the guitar like they usually do from the dvd's.

If I'm playing it on the LP, I usually stick it on the bass pickup, and use a fairly clean tone - I've found it works pretty well, whether it's accurate or not is another matter entirely lol . My main problem is that I haven't got anything in the way of an effect á la Edge for the verses.

Everything sounds fine for me, except when I get down to the 10th fret on the low E....

Yea you need a Leslie model. It's that rotary sound used during the verses. Sounds like the guitar is being played through an underwater amp from the 60's haha.
