1. I'm guessing it's a bit different than the one from the "Blood Brothers" EP?

  2. Haha. Well, I didn't mind NS81 because he was just harmlessly trolling with silly topics & people would get so worked up.

But I really hated GL after a while because it's quite cliquish & too heavily moderated.
  3. I enjoy the long threads. Keenly searching for gems I haven't heard. Don't let the criticism deter you . This should be a place for everybody .

thanks but there will be no more. I said right at the start that i didn't expect thanks and that everyone should just download and enjoy but nor do i expect what is a phenomenal amount of work on my part and others - there are more Bruce boots on here than there are u2 - to be insultingly dismissed as 'clutter' by people who clearly fail to see how much set list variations matter to those interested in bruce's live work. Let's say for example you have on the face of it a 'normal' gig no big shocks in the setlist no long lost outtakes but somewhere near the end incident goes into rosalita? The subtelties might be lost on most but on 1% of people they would hit that download button so fast they'd be in danger of breaking something. personally i have no interest in what he's releasing or what date it comes out - i'll buy it anyway. Just as i have no interest in what he writes to fans etc it is all about the concerts and the sessions - always has been always will be that's why it's taken me thirty plus years to amass one of the biggest collections in the world - there are things here not just Bruce but u2, police, bowie that you can''t begin to imagine exist. Rock n roll folks, that's all.
  5. Don't be so easily offended. It were just me and Sergio (LikeASong) who said that there were some long posts in this thread.
Don't think that me or Sergio meant to offend you ....

And I hope/think that the released High Hopes single will be different than the one we already know. I also still hope that the rumour about Tracks 2 is true, but it probably was just a stupid rumour made up by someone and I'm the only one who believed it

Your ego and self indulgence stops you from seeing it was just a comment - not even a critic. I'm a moderator of this website and, honestly, I couldn't care less if your bootleg collection is the biggest amongs all of us. As you might know, size doesn't matter - it's what you do with it. I sincerely hope you can enjoy your collection for at least twice the time that's taken you to amass it.

What I do care about is the convenience of those reading the forum discussions, and -want it or not- having super long posts more and more often is unconvenient, even annoying for some. Since it annoyed me while I wanted to search for a specific post, I guessed that it would annoy others as well - I wasn't wrong, since other users have since expressed their agreement with my comment, both in public and private.

Moreover, we have a dedicated forum room for other artist bootlegs, and THAT is the place where non-U2 bootlegs should be shared; not in their artist discussion topics. We have hundreds of other artists bootlegs in separate threads for a reason; here's two good examples, from two artists you know very well: Bruce Springsteen - 2005-06-15 Frankfurt - Ex Aud andThe Police - 1979-11-29 - New York (The Palladium) FM Remaster. Having separated threads for bootlegs and artist discussion is the way to go, and the reason we have different forum rooms. That way, searching for a bootleg is automatic through our search system and one doesn't have to surf through hundreds of forum pages inside one only topic. Just in case you hadn't heard about that forum room, it's this one:

    Other artists recordings
For bootlegs of artists other than U2, also for U2 remixes.

So, I hereby invite you not to stop in your laudable purpose of increasing everyone else's bootleg collection. I myself have downloaded plenty of bootlegs from those you've posted, and I'm thankful for it as everyone else is (I guess). I only commented on the slight annoyance that's finding longer and longer posts on boards that use to be composed of short posts. Nothing more, nothing less. No criticism towards your praiseworthy sharing spirit, no criticism towards you personally.
  8. You have to live in The States to get to listen to it.....
Never heard of MOG to be honest haha.
  9. so i must
1- catch up with the times
    2- move there
    hehehe
  10. Hahaha, yeah you have to give up a lot to listen to Bruce.
  11. Ok, whats up here?

First of all thanks to this topic of Springsteen I am now a huge fan of him and also I like most of Ade's posts, answers and links to Springsteen concerts.
