Any chance you could post one or two scans? I've never seen this before either, and I'm over in the US so shipping from a private UK seller is a bit more than a hassle without a credit card.

I didn't see this before, and this stuff is "cough", "cough", cough"-ing great!
    I want it.

  2. Could be also 'feel' instead of 'fear' there. Either way, the falsetto and the instrumental part right after this kills me every time.

  3. Going a bit off here but the "Stealing Hearts..." book came out in 2003.

Here are a few scans. HIghly recommend the book. Go to the link previously posted and order a copy. Well worth it.

This set showing some of the t-shirt designs.

Early album art and titles tossed around for what became "All That You Can't Leave Behind"

  4. Those are great scans, thanks I love the Macphisto devil horns one...imagine seeing that on the store shelves

  5. I just think that it was great that after some of the feedback they'd heard, they were at one point going to name the first Best of 1980-1990 "Love Your Early Stuff". And when the critics thought that even U2 might be admitting that thier 1980's output was better than thier 1990's output - release the 2nd Best of (1990-200) and call it "Even BETTER than the Early Stuff".

I think that it'd have been hilarious if they'd stayed with those titles.

You also see that they were conscious of turning 40 around the time of ATYCLB and the idea of calling the album "U2:40" had a few different incarnations of artwork. The other title that seemed high on the list was "At Heart Zero". Many said that the songs of ATYCLB helped them through 9/11. I'd imagine that they'd really have thought that if they'd gone with "At Heart Zero".

I love the titles of those. I wish they had gone with them. I wonder what 2000-2010 would have been called?

  7. Wish they'd used that instead, but I suppose the One buffaloes are more iconic, in a sense.
  8. Some nice artwork over there. Never knew ATYCLB had 40 as title.
  9. Amazing stuff. Thanks a lot for posting!

  10. I feel bad because I didn't tell you earlier what I thought of it.

Sounds smoother in places and a little bit more sharper. I was also able to hear the vocals properly as well, so it was a nice edit.
  11. some afwul cover ideas there, although they should have gone with the sarajevo poster one

  12. If I remember Discola and Godzilla which were going to be for Pop, they were worse.
