1. Nice packaging for a great DVD from our little city.

However, if you (like me) are not happy with the DVD-included editions, simply don't buy anything above the two-CD, deluxe edition. It will hopefully send some sort of message to them.

If you don't care that they've repackaged "Sydney" (AGAIN) then enjoy your purchase.

Well said,as usual.I went back and downloaded the 10.14.92 gig.Its fantastic. The small bits before the live tunes. Its better tahn anything we are getting.I will stick with that broadcast. The band did release a VHS back in the day.Interference...is that included with this reissue ?????
  3. Currently $588 in amazon US stores.
  4. i am screwed .. as I play vinyls .... and would love the uber version ... I am about to pre-order the uber version AND the vinyl package ...
    300 e and 80 e ....
I need the remixes and the bsides on vinyl ....

it almost makes you go to the point where you take the bsides and remixes and have them pressed on vinyl yourself ...
that would be an idea ...
I do know record plants that scracth the serial number out of the mother platter ... before they start pressing ...
that is also how that blue vinyl 360 album rec by the bbc came to live ...

whaaaaa .. my bank account and me are no friends .....

I am joking, just trying to lighten the mood.
  6. Well, a petition delivered to Principle Management might work (or just mass email complaints).

I mean fan pressure did get the band to play Mercy live and bring back Ultraviolet.

The only problem I see with that is that it's too late and all the artwork etc would have already been locked down for production and they'd have to change all of that and remaster a new show as well.
  7. How about "pressure" on U2.com to release something else from the ZooTV tour?
  8. My guess as to why they won't be "able" to release the DVDs we want from the Zoo Tour for a few reasons:

-snippets, one's they can't edit out, that is.

they got sued, and if they do decide to include those in the release, it means less money in their pocket. Mr. McGuinness aka el cheapo won't like that one bit.
they also might not be able to edit them out since other dates in the same venue may not have been taped. Maybe.

This would probably be the case for DC. There's 7 snippets here, and the Boston 2001 show they chose was full of snippets and *correct me if I'm wrong* the performance is edited a lot.

As for Stockholm, the folks from ABBA would want some money too.

    Here's an idea for U2:

Put out a concert, and credit the people on the snippets. WHo cares if you have to give them money? The money made from the release could be given to charity to put the money issue to rest.

  9. Check this channel, it has lots of Adelaide video's. I think the DVD is just a rip of it.
  10. Was the best version of Lemon live from Sydney?
