The thought has crossed my mind a few times too
  2. A friend of mine has just bought the vinyls pack (originally priced at 110€) for 34'50€ at FNAC, a famous official retailer. I expected the prices to go down quickly after the first months, for sure, but not that much
  3. That's a bargain It's still quite expensive on Amazon, nothin compared to the Über Deluxe though

Wow, online it's still 80 euros at FNAC. Even on amazon they're indeed very expensive, comparing to the start
  5. I still cant decide if I like how, in UTEOTW, he takes the last verse up the octave. The "In my dreams / I was drowning my sorrows" bit. I think I like the finished album version more.

I love that part. It's almost like I listen to the Baby versions and think it's one album, then go back to the 'mixed' version (the actual album) and it sounds like an entirely new album. Just such a great idea to see how some of our favourite songs evolved.

The Baby version of Blindness is fast becoming my favourite outtake / demo track over Levitate.
  6. The baby Love Is Blindness makes me cry.
  7. so, is the zooropa enhanced? its noticeable? ill see it on my 300,00 US$ receiver?
  8. I find myself coming back to the Kindergarten versions again... Love Is Blindness really breaks my heart

  9. Finally decided to buy the vinyl box. Wow how nice, should have done this earlier. Thankfully it still was kind of affordable on amazon.de compared to other sites

    Lucky you!

Good interview to Jack White regarding his Love Is Blindness cover that appears in the Akhtoong Beibi album, in White's debut album (as a B-side), and in The Great Gatsby soundtrack: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/jack-white-on-u2s-achtung-baby-i-listened-to-that-on-repeat-as-a-teenager-20130506
  11. He's not the only one who was drawn instantly to LIB.

Something so incredibly heartbreaking about that piece of poetry.
  12. I think it's be great if they released a ....haunting (that's the best word I can come up with at the moment) album filled with songs that are in the spirit of "Love is Blindness." It truly is one of their most underrated songs.
