I like how the explore the idea, of how it's set in today's society, where people are increasingly individualistic and consumerism is rampant, and people don't believe in anything.

And so you see what happens when the few good men like Batman, Harvey Dent and Commissioner Gordon, have to fight crime when they can't trust no one, not even their own police officers. Because the 'people are only as good as their circumstances allow them to be' and no one is willing to stand up to do the right thing, which results in catastrophic consequences like how Rachel and Harvey are abducted by Gordon's cops and delivered to the Joker.

    Ain't that the truth

  2. Actually, she's one of the preppy "popular" kids, so maybe she's normal and I'm really really crazy
Oooh, now they're deciding which ship to blow up, some great scenes coming up

  3. And the answer is:
    Only time will tell

  4. Yeah, people who watch the Dark Knight all too often don't realise that it's criticising modern society, (much like AB, Zoorop and Pop did).

I love how all the cops & citizens love Batman, until the Joker starts killing cops. Then they become all too willing to give into the demands of a terrorist, and sacrifice a hero, so that they can save their own skins.

The movie is truly epic in scope. I love the ending, have you watched it before Katherine?

I think it just shows how spineless people can be, once their lives are threatened.
My favorite scene is on. The Joker is upsidedown

Lol, I try to avoid them, but we were friends before all this happened, and I'm trying to stay friends
  8. Annnnnnd now Harvey is threatening Gordon's family, damn great movie

  9. Good luck!

Believe it or not, there really aren't any of those kids in my school (to my knowledge). Honestly, I think that the stereotypical filing of people (prep, etc.) is more so in middle school. In middle school, you sort or want to be involved in all of that useless crap, but in high school you really just don't have time for it. I know, I've only been in HS for a few months now, but I think that it is long enough to know. And, the very few people in my school that do it are freshmen. Stupid freshmen But, either way, I don't really believe in any of that stuff

I wish we didn't have that at my school, it's obnoxious
    Those stupid freshman...
