1. So most of the Chilean newspapers are all over the rumour, someone is claiming to have a source at LiveNation, who stated that U2 will be playing Santiago de Chile on March the 5th.
They would play at the ESTADIO NACIONAL, which is under re-construction and U2 would apparently give the inauguration act...

Sincerely I find it hard to believe... but who knows....

Always hope. Didn't know they were working on the stadium
  3. Yes, it was almost demolished... But I thought they wouldn't finish it until 2011, nice to see yet another rumour of South Am concerts in March/April... Even though it makes me worry about the potential delaying of Songs Of Ascent

  4. haha, 1st Anniversary?? You don't want us motley crew there

    Congrats though
  5. Just found this on a blog titled "U2 Kiss the Future", says they tok the informationfrom Interference. Sorry if any of this is old news:

    ***COMPLETELY RUMORED (obviously)*****

It does have at least a bit of logic to it, even if it is BS: opening in Mexico City, like they planned, and closing at the new Giants' Stadium, which would probably merit two shows. Also, there's plenty of time between Mexico City and Seattle to add shows, and also a few dates here and there that could have shows squeezed between them- although it does seem pretty similar to the staggering of shows we're seeing now.

That list has been around for months. I hope it is true, but who knows. Tonight is the last show of the leg that is not sold out, so I am hoping we are close to the North America 2010 annnouncement. the Euro dates make me so jealous.
  7. Alright- I hope so too. Just wanted to make sure anyone over here wasn't missing out- I hadn't seen it til this afternoon.
  8. That would put me in STL for sure, and trying like hell to get to Green Bay. Sure would be a great first Lambeau Field experience.

  9. Same here. It's hilarious, though- Green Bay, Detroit, and St. Louis are all almost EXACTLY the same distance from Chicago where I live in a suburb. I'd only be able to make it to one of those shows, if at all, because 4 hours there also means 4 hours back. And I'm not getting a hotel.
  10. Anyone heard anything about potential UK dates yet... maybe... perhaps?

  11. I still think they will return to Cardiff. Belfast is also technically UK and its getting its fair share of rumors
