This thread is dying a death. Is that because no-one really thinks they're going to add any more EU dates next year?

Lansdowne is scheduled to be open April 2010. When I went to see U2 back in July, my hotel was a 10 second walk to the stadium. It looked nearly ready so I think it will be open in April. So there is some hope that there will be a concert there for U2 on the European Leg.

Don't know where to put this thought down, but....

A Year ago today on October 27, 1992 U2 played the El Paso, TX Sun Bowl with the Amazing ZooTV Tour!!!

Here's a drink to that Anniversary, because they have never played here since. 17 years... So Wishful thinking it is, that they would decide to bring the Claw to El Paso, TX after all this time!
In the spirit of ZooTV meets 360 with a splash of Elevation and afterwards feeling some Vertigo, It is a toast to our Band, Here's to hope that they come back to El Paso.

With a population of over 700,000 people would 40 to 70 thousand of them and others from numerous near-by cities come to see U2?? Or will ZooTV mark U2's only live performance here in El Paso. Taken from Interference.com it shows that over 35,000 people attended the ZooTV show. And the Sun Bowl now holds over 50,000 people.
Hmmm.... I can only wish and hope that the Spaceship will land in El Paso and U2 Fans will get a chance to see The Claw in all it's Glory!

Yeh but they could have to take up the pitch for the gig and i don't know if they would do that

But I doubt Croke Park would want to do it again either

I dont really care where they play as long as i can go

Maybe Phoenix Park?

I heard a rumour elsewhere that they'd booked 4 nights in Buenos Aires next March, but whether it's more than just talk I can't tell you.

The tour page at U2.com says "Additional dates and cities for U2 360° Tour 2010 to be confirmed."

Anyone heard where else those additional dates might be?

At this point, I'd settle for just rumors. Or just inklings of rumors.

Seriously hoping for someplace closer than 7-8 hours away, which is the closest US date to me as it stands right now. Fortunately, those presales havesn't gone on sale yet, so keeping my fingers crossed that they add a closer date before they do.

Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Hobart and Auckland would be a nice surprise.
