  1. I would very much like U2 to come back to NA next summer so I don't have to miss class to go see them...(got lucky with Chicago 1, though...but that's why I couldn't see Chicago 2)...

    One question, though...when did we find out who the openers were for the shows? I don't really remember...and I've got a friend who might be interesting in getting GAs with me if I can figure out who the opening band is (I doubt it'll be Muse, like he wants, but there's always a chance, I suppose)...I know NA tour dates are theoretically coming out soon...do the openers come out with the dates? Or later on?

  4. I don't know how it will work specifically, correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think the Euro support has been announced for the 2010 dates and those tickets have mostly gone on sale. Also i don't remember Snow Patrol being announced as support for the shows i went to this year at the time i bought tickets.

    So i doubt it will be the case but you never know. Tough to work out schedules this far in advance

    But hope it will be Lansdowne, even Phoenix park intead of Croke.

    Dunno If Landsdowne would be open and if they would take up that pitch that soon?
    Would be a class gig if they do do it though

    Oh and Q102 has been out a few years now Haven't heard any rumors about U2 coming back here to Dublin yet Hopefully they will

    Lansdowne is scheduled to be open April 2010. When I went to see U2 back in July, my hotel was a 10 second walk to the stadium. It looked nearly ready so I think it will be open in April. So there is some hope that there will be a concert there for U2 on the European Leg.

    A Year ago today on October 27, 1992 U2 played the El Paso, TX Sun Bowl with the Amazing ZooTV Tour!!!

    Here's a drink to that Anniversary, because they have never played here since. 17 years... So Wishful thinking it is, that they would decide to bring the Claw to El Paso, TX after all this time!
    In the spirit of ZooTV meets 360 with a splash of Elevation and afterwards feeling some Vertigo, It is a toast to our Band, Here's to hope that they come back to El Paso.

    With a population of over 700,000 people would 40 to 70 thousand of them and others from numerous near-by cities come to see U2?? Or will ZooTV mark U2's only live performance here in El Paso. Taken from Interference.com it shows that over 35,000 people attended the ZooTV show. And the Sun Bowl now holds over 50,000 people.
    Hmmm.... I can only wish and hope that the Spaceship will land in El Paso and U2 Fans will get a chance to see The Claw in all it's Glory!

    Yeh but they could have to take up the pitch for the gig and i don't know if they would do that
    But I doubt Croke Park would want to do it again either I dont really care where they play as long as i can go Maybe Phoenix Park?


  12. I heard a rumour elsewhere that they'd booked 4 nights in Buenos Aires next March, but whether it's more than just talk I can't tell you.
