1. some guy at zootopia says:
I was going to post this a little while back....BUT... i had learned of this (from a good source) a few weeks back ,

Basically i was asking about possible Dublin dates for 2'nd Leg & my reply was "Well Lansdowne will be finished then won't it" added with a wry smile :-)

    sooooo...
flight from Poland is only 35 EUR with Ryanair

f**k school, i'm gonna be a lumberjack anyway
i'm watchin slane at the moment, and so excited for Dublin. only 9 months left
i hope for 3 gigs. that would make 6 or 5 concerts for me in 2010.

but but... don't get so excited antoni, it will be bad if these rumours won't be true.
  2. why no 2010 uk concerts
  3. Has anyone noticed that the text stating "additional dates and cities to be confirmed" is gone?
Could this be all? I sure would hate it if the Dublin rumor won't come true.

it's U2.com. Do not trust it

  5. I thought U2.com and only u2.com is the source to be trusted. I mean, everybody keeps saying they won't believe a thing until it's not on their official tour page.

the removal of that statement won't hurt Dublins chances

We don't give a damn. They always mess up the informations, the dates, everything. U2.com is the source when it comes to confirmed information (eg. release of singles, albums, etc), but a phrase of them, wheter it's written or gone, won't decide if there's a Eire show this year, at all. I mean, U2.com is not U2, and is not Principle Management. They don't decide anything.
  8. just taking the chance of Lansdowne in October... how long before a show would definitely happen would they announce the date? what would be the minimum time before a show they would officially announce it? (i.e. what is the maximum time I have to wait until I know if I'll head to Dub in October or not?) any ideas?

well, I guess it doesn't count as a good example since it wa the start of the tour, but Barcelona's tickets were put on sale on March 25th. That means just 3 months before the show. So... I wouldn't expect an immediate announcement (if there's any).

  10. If this is true, than there must be more dates added! No UK or Holland dates simply don't make sense.
  11. A well, tickets go on sale later then an announcement, but like with Zurich it can be quickly too. Problem is that maybe they're still not sure if the stadium will be 100% ready at that time?

Maybe Gerry has some more news, if they already apply for permission and so, must be a good sign.

For the UK and NL, guess UK will be only Glastonbury and NL will not get. Suppose Dublin will be the only exception, also because it's a new stadium and off course there's no better opening act then 4 local men

  12. 09 February 2010
In case you're wondering, all of U2's 2010 European shows are now announced.

The tour will visit Russia, Turkey, Greece and Finland among others places, as per www.u2.com/tours http://www.u2.com/tours.

But U2 Tour Promoter Arthur Fogel has urged fans to be aware. 'Fans should always check U2.com first, it's the most reliable on any dates. Recent rumours, like Dublin and Tel Aviv, are unfounded.'
