Normally, since when does U2 do something normally?

Yep -- 'years' may be even more appropriate...

Well we do know that the album was supposed to be released in Autumn 2009, and then early 2010 and then the second half of 2010 and then very early sooner any of us would think 2011, and then before the USA leg and then at the end of May 2011.
So it's already years now

Erm what's he talking about exactly? Google translate's Romanian doesn't seem to be very good :)

From this I can only think of two things. The first is that they will have the stages in Africa and they will have to bring one here especially for the Bucharest concert, in which case the costs of an airbridge would be enormous, unjustified and irretrievable. If they will be in Africa, maybe there won't be another European leg after all and we would be the chosen ones. Knowing how things work around here, let me doubt about this too.Though there was something similar in the past with Michael Jackson. Maybe we are the chosen people
The second thought is that everything, or parts of it, is bull. The fact that he says where they will be is quite a lot of info to be true and said without the U2 staff approval.
Or maybe it's meant to be planted in order to cause even more confusion before announcing the real plans? That wouldn't be the first time.

Michelle Doherty caught up with Edge to talk about plans for a new album, bringing the 360 Tour to a close, finally getting to play Glastonbury, and the many ways the lads like to slag Bono.
Don’t miss it this Friday at 12.30 – Only on Phantom 105.2.

Upto Moncton it's exactly 110 not counting Glastonbury and the rehearsal show back in 2009.
