End of June - 3rd of July: Spain
5th of July - 23rd of July: Germany, Italy, France, Belgium, (edit, Holland ), possible Poland-etc shows
25th of July - 30th of July: Ireland (pressumibly only Dublin)
5th of August - 20th of August: UK (all shows, London, Manchester, etc)

So, the possible range for French, Italian, etc. shows looks ridicully short in comparison to the rumoured only UK dates, doesnt it? I wonder if they will return to middle Europe after touring the UK...

i hope this is true.we are at rock werchter from the 2-5th july and spending the following week in belgium ,so if u2 are somewhere in the belgium, holland, germany france area that would be great.

  2. It makes you think how they can stick with just stadiums, maybe a southern hemisphere leg will follow the European one, trying to follow the summer, then make their way to the USA in 2010, unless they do arenas in North America of course.

New york does have a habit of being skipped, with their gigs being played at giants stadium in East Rutherford. I think Giants Stadium is being closed this year in favour of the new Meadowlands Stadium, also in East Rutherford.

Im from London and visited the States over the new year and managed to watch the Jets Vs Dolphins at the Giants Stadium on boxing day. Great experience other than the fact that a rat crawled over my shoe while watching the game.........enjoy!

  8. Are you happy they skipped ny? That will never happen. They will play anywhere from 6-8 shows in this area alone like they do every tour! They are hear all week and they always play a ton of shows in the area.
  9. course im not happy they skipped new york ,they wont anyway,

im a little bit peeved that they probably wont be playing msg.

as me and my girlfriend are flying from the uk,especially to see u2 at msg.

it appears now that as its a stadium only tour.

    msg is off.

ive never seen u2 do an arena, and msg wouldve been perfect.

we are still going to new york when u2 are there, its just a shame we cant see them play indoors.
