    You are going to get:

Something that hasn't been played since Zoo TV (Ultraviolet)
Something that hasn't been played since Lovetown (Unforgettable Fire)
And something that hasn't been pllayed ever (Drowning Man)

And stil unsatisfied????? You all guys are mad.
  4. Happy with the setlist. They are always going to play the crowd pleasers because not everybody listens to bootlegs everyday and will want to hear the prides and the Beautiful days. They have to provide for the hardcore and the casual fans. Thats just the way it is.

Actually I am satisfied. But I hope they will play The Fly + something from Pop (Zooropa is not a live album so I can live with that).

Amen, that's it. We can't request a setlist full of Acrobats and Promenades, 1) because it would be incredibly boring (even for us die hard fans) and 2) because WOWY, One, Pride ETC are the hits that made U2 so incredibly big, they can NOT get rid of them. And they're damn good songs, why denying it??

Some people are just spoilt. It will be my first U2 gig so songs like WOWY and SBS are very welcome. And curious to the new material live.

    No chance.

I hear what you are saying, but I'd just prefer they let the song "do the politicking" if you know what I mean. If Bono sings Sunday Bloody Sunday with some passion, and maybe a one political one liner, it would be so much better than a 5 minute speech/lecture prior to singing it.

yeah i already said i'm over the moon that they are playing Ultraviolet and UF! - on the other hand i think the reason Drowning Man has never been played before is the simple fact that it is a pretty terrible, weak song!

but thats TWO songs !! theres so many other great songs that have been neglected for years and YEARS and they choose to play Drowning Man?!!? i can think of 50 better songs that have not been played for years that are much better than Drowning Man!

and then there's all the songs that they have played to death over the last two tours that they could replace with equally as good or better songs that havn't been played for years!

doesnt make sense to me at all... i remember when they used to like to "keep it interesting" for themselves... sorry but so far what has been played doesn't really interest me at all apart from the 2 songs i already mentioned...

  11. I think some of us get too upset after 3 days of basic rehearsals....

I think (hope) the NLOTH songs should keep them and us interested. They're still getting used to playing those songs in addition to re-learning UV etc. I think I'd rather have well-rehearsed and spot-on performances of the new material than poorer performances of random older songs just for the sake of playing them.
I've got wish lists and complaints, but when it comes time for the actual concert, I'll be happy with whatever they play.
