1. MoS is over. That's it. 22 songs - amazing crowd it seems.

  2. started a landslide in my ego

  3. Great to hear that

    I'm going out guys

    Greetigs from Brazil

    Take care
  4. Well someone said it was a boring setlist! So far from the truth. A great show in Glasgow this evening. Sound did drop out during 'Walk On' but I think the stage monitors were still on. The crowd were booing whilst the song was going on. I think Bono was a bit non-plussed as to why folks were booing the band.

Fantastic performance I reckon. Crowd was up for a good sing-a-long as well. Not too sure if it was full either. Quite a number of empty seats scattered around the stadium.

Missed The Hours but managed last few songs of Glasvegas - not really that good, their songs are rather samey!

Just uploading photos and will post a link from my facebook page. Not brilliant quality but seeing that I was in the stands they came out okay.

Here's a handful that are up already:

  5. Well was at the show wow!!! what a show fantastic the band was really up for it where i was i was very full the people did not want to go and stand at the lefthand side of the mixing desk so the picture posted is a bit of a false view i was seated at the oppisite side of the west stand.
best band in the world ?oh yes
took my 16 year old son and his friend not U2 fans but i think they are now
i was at the vertigo in 2005 that show was crap sound was crap and i am a massive U2 fan this show was my second best show first being zoo at celtic park
lets hope they play Murrayfield next year cant wait

    Hope everybody else enjoyed

Be listening on the radio on Thursday

What a night Scottish crowds are the best
  6. Enjoyed last night , first Scottish U2 gig for me . The video screen was behaving strangely at one point, it was still in the half stretched position for crazy tonight , which impacted on the effect of the band's faces during the song intro .
The pa did have a fault during walk on , sounded like a loose plug or connection.
  7. Seems like they're having more and more issues with the screens. Well, it's gonna make it 2 more nights. Time to fix it then.
  8. Correction : my second Scottish show , I went to Celtic park in 1993

    Gotta love the Scottish.

    great one LOL

now I'm looking forward to any video material from Walk On... just to see the band's faces when the sound broke down
  10. Just listened to my recording of last night's show and from MLK to walk on the sound just fell apart. Almost a min of walk on there was no music at all. My 3rd show after the two wembley shows with Sat being far and away the best of the 3 and friday 2nd.
  11. My take on last nights show for what it's worth. I'll bullet point them.

    - When I walked out to see the claw in it's full glory, I was blown away. An amazing construction
-Short lived as myself and the Mrs had possibly the worst seats in the house. Front row, right in line with the back claw on adams side, completely blocking the stage and getting a great view of the back of a cameraman on a scaffold. £150 each..... f*cking raging!!!
    - Show started and the sound was tremendous. The best sound system I have heard in a stadium, ever.
-Too many drunk twats fighting amongst themselves, getting lifted and stretchered out... as seems to be the norm at every Glasgow U2 gig i've been to. (No offence to the people of Glasgow, just an observation)
-Sound broke up a bit then completely shutdown during walk on... with the band obviously still hearing themselves in their IEM's.
-Larry looks so uncomfortable doing the congo thing during crazy tonight.
-Poor setlist... my standout being Unforgettable fire and Ultraviolet. Too many songs have run their course (For a 30 something like me anyway). I've heard Pride at every U2 gig I have been to since the mid 80's.

Overall, great performance and great to see the band again. Could have been a bit braver in their song choice. I would probably have been satisfied if End of the world was played and would have been over the moon if they had played 'Bad'. The glitch during Walk on didnt bother me... it was actually good to see that they are human after all!! My big letdown being that I paid a fortune for premium seats and got completely ripped off!!

Happily for me it will be my last gig at Hampden Park. An absolute toilet, and has to be the worst 'big' stadium for viewing. Even at football games it's crap. Somebody got it wrong with the seating plan and I'm guessing there are a good few hundred unhappy people around this morning.
