    Did they ever open with Love And Peace? I only heard that was their first idea of opening with. I think Breathe is a very good opener. That outro is amazingly powerfull and after that it kicks right in NLOTH (which is outstanding too).

  6. I think the north American leg of the tour will see a new opener for the show and some newe songs. Just because when U2 come on stage in the USA it is dark already!!!!! Unlike in Europe it is still light out!!!!!!!!

  9. They were thinking about it on the last tour. Bono kept saying ''it's coming'' and was supposedly rehearsed several times. It's early days yet...


    I'm all for Fez-Being Born being added to the setlist.

    Maybe open or rotate with Unknown Caller.



    Fez - Being Born gets my vote. Then go into Kingdom of Your Love and then No Line, going into City of Blinding Lights.

    Unknown Caller would work better when it's not dark. Imagine the birds at the beginning...

    Maybe the urge has passed. But they've gotta play something from Pop this tour.
    Staring At The Sun has been in the vault for a while.


    I think there's still more NLOTH to come and Fez-Being Born would beat White As Snow and Cedars and Stand Up as a live act IMO.

  12. Also, do you remember hearing about Bono saying he was going to be doing some characters this tour like ZooTV? Maybe not to the same extremity, but certainly something for him to slip into as far as a theme or subject matter is concerned. I thought this was a really good idea. Ok I don't expect a Macphisto character coming out, but I think it would be cool to see what he would do. Actually I think he was experimenting with a character when he was doing a lot of the promo GOYB performances, and he was wearing eye shadow. Interesting.

    Bring that creativity back Bono!!!
