1. same for me
and i have to say .. the cd packaging is very very poor .. nothing else than a piece of cardboard .. and the prize is the same as the other cds if not higher in some case...
    i'm pretty disappointed by that
low cost production for high cost selling
  2. I already tore the cardboard cd-package apart, by accident. Very cheap product indeed.

But the main item is the cd itself, and I still really like the album!

    Cool!

I still think its a ewe turd!

    Aren't opinions wonderful?
  4. Looks like I'm not the only one that can't stand Radiohead's latest offering. Glad I didn't blindly pay for the special edition
For me the album isn't an easy one to listen to. I found In Rainbows more listenable and enjoyable.

Radiohead isn't commited to forfill you expectations.

Just give in to it, you may be seated.

  6. I see that I'm not the only one being disappointed that there's no "King of Limbs part 2" coming out. Mr. Hitler isn't too happy about it either...

  7. These are always funny...this video gets used a lot for stuff like this doesn't it? It was used for the Oasis break up.
  8. Im getting off King of Limbs A LOT. It's just such an odd piece of work, I don't know if I like it or don't even though it's been like over a month. I feel like this is a failed experiment / album on Radiohead's part for me. It's just not all that good imo Although there are moments of sheer BRILLIANCE (Give Up the Ghost, Feral and Separator) these are merely cuz I understand these songs somewhat. I totally drained up Lotus Flower by now and am over it ahaha what do you guys think about this album?

Are you guys disappointed its not being followed up with like a sequel or sister album? It feels like it WOULD be followed by something else imo

I think the band needs to release something soon, or at least perform this album live (the songs might seem better interdispersed amongst their other work - I found that with the tracks from Pop and NLOTH) in order to save a little face.

I am a big fan of Radiohead but this album is a disappointment. Maybe releasing studio tracks of Big Boots, Follow Me Around, Lift, and even True Love Waits might make me feel better.

  10. Ha..now that made me laugh.."Im goin to get shitfaced and blast OK Computer"....Has anyone heard the 2 NEW songs?..I jus got an email from Waste..and they are giving the 2 new tunes for free on their website.Supercollider/The Butcher......strange sounding...again..IMO these 2 would have fit on KOL..even though Colin says they didnt have a spot for them....
IMO, these 2 new songs, and KOL.....sound more like Thom Yorke solo (The Eraser) than Radiohead...I actually like Hearing Damage better than anything from this years releases..O well.....I hope they tour in 2011....

I agree with your comparison of KOL to The Eraser. Unfortunately, I never got into Thom's solo project and the same seems to have happened with the new album - and the new singles. I'll add them to my KOL playlist, most likely as tracks 9 and 10 and see if the add anything to the listening experience. I'm doubtful, however.
  12. I think that these 2 songs add nothing at the general idea of the album and yes, as said since the release it seems more likely a Thom Yorke project than Radiohead.
it's comparable to The Eraser more than Kid A, like i frequently read, and i still prefer the solo Thom album .. but maybe it's just the "disappointment" of the moment
