Not the point. I thought you don't charge for bootlegs...it had better be for mailing and print only, otherwise that's ridiculous.
It's time to start charging for my burning of bootlegs, and for the rest of the U2 trading community as well.
2.1 euros and $3.70 Australian dollars.

are you serious?....
the other multicams have very slow edits, the focus on showing footage as opposed to editing in time!...the editing is here is not only better but it contains audio that as you say `is far better than anything else!`...the package is far better, presentation is better, and the technique to edit from various sources is also harder to do because of sync issues....
if you think other multicams are better then thats your opinion..personally i feel they all suffer and in fact can be quite boring due to poor sound and slow edits.
the dvd produced also has a decent balance of pace...tracks like boots, crazy, vertigo, mysterious ways have very quick edits, balanced out with slow edits to other tracks...dvd`s that have been edited here do not have that..they are one pace...this can make things a little boring to watch.
wild horses for courses ....

Yes, I am serious.
I've watched about half of the DVD so far and while I'd agree that the editing is done very well, as well as the presentation and the audio synching in parts.
But the picture quality partly is way below some other multi- or 1cam shows I've seen from this tour. Sometimes the picture is crystal clear - the next second suffers from heavy pixellation. Partly the picture is stable and sharp, partly it's shaky and blurry. That's probably because you've worked with youtube clips instead of complete and/ or original sources.
As you mentioned, this is all a matter of taste, I don't need this presentation thing or funky effects when the cam changes. What's important to me is to have the impression that I watch a flowing concert. That's something I never had due to the concept (different daylight, background, clothes from one second to the next) and the varying video quality.
So all in all, I think that this stuff is nice for people who just want a general impression of the tour. But there's no way it's anywhere near as good as an official DVD as it's presented.
I might not agree with the concept, the way you distributed this and might not keep the DVD - nevertheless, I appreciate the effort and the time and work you've spent on it.

Constructive criticism? you haven't read this thread have you, otherwise you'd have know what the £2 charge was for but instead you just slagged the man off with it better be for this comment (if you'd read the thread you'd have known that it was for postage & materials).
as you don't appreciate being called an idiot i'm sure others don't appreciate having to justify themselves to you.
I'm back to the friendly band forums - ppl full of their own importance jump down each others throat here when all the fella has done is put in a lot of time and effort. frankly you deserve each other.
