1. Right now listening to 30 second samples from The Rising
  2. Just buy it, its fantastic. Waitin' on a Sunny Day, Lonesome Day, and the title track are my favorites. My City of Ruin is really brilliant too.

  3. I hear an annoying female voice on backing vocals on some of the samples, how much of that does it have?
  4. What is the forums opinion about Bruce's Nebraska?
  5. Mr_Trek you could just go to Google and typ in ''Bruce Springsteen discography torrent'' that way you could listen to all his songs and decide if you want to buy a album of him

I'm a very legal person when it comes to music

  7. If you like it you can still buy the CD's. I have to say I never buy a CD, just because I never listen to CD's I only listen to my Ipod so I dont really need CD's.

Oh, and dad would probably see to it that I don't get any internet access.
  9. Nebraska is an acoustic album, mainly just voice and guitar. some great songs taken one by one but too boring all together for my tastes.
not the right album to start with i think
  10. I normally hate that "Whats your favorite song?" question, cause as most of us know it's a pretty impossible (and sort of stupid to some degree) question...but I've been thinking lately, I'll listen to a song and go "that's DEFINITELY in my top ten", because I refuse to choose a favorite.

Which kept me thinking...I could definitely name 10 or so songs that I keep a cut above the rest. Keeping it to one song per artist, to not flood it with U2, I came up with a pretty representative list. It's only numbered so I could keep track of what number I was on when I listed them off the top of my head. They aren't in any order.

    1. Under Pressure- Queen & David Bowie
    2. Let it Be- The Beatles
    3. With or Without You- U2
    4. Pictures of You- The Cure
    5. Tiny Dancer- Elton John
    6. Burning Down the House- Talking Heads (though I prefer it live on Stop Making Sense, and Dave Matthews Band's covers of it)
    7. 99 Problems- Jay-Z
    8. Cherub Rock- Smashing Pumpkins
    9. Thunder Road- Bruce Springsteen
    10. Red Rain- Peter Gabriel

    Anyone got a rough list?
