1. I usually don't listen to a lot of it, but when that lounge type music comes on I just have to listen.

The other day I found an album called By Request Only. It's full of religious music but it's just so well done (OK, it's got a bit of filler) and the guy who does it, Ken Snyder, has a massive online following. It's nice music and if you can get past the religious references, it's hugely enjoyable. It nearly makes me wonder whether Alice Cooper, being a Christian and bible-class teacher, would enjoy it.

Not hugely familiar with Frank - do you like Roy Orbison?
  2. My experience with Orbison is limited to She's A Mystery To Me, but I like it better when Bono sings it

Just saw a Star Trek episode with James Darren. Just pure class. I really need to buy that album.

I don't listen to that type of music that much either, but I do like putting a CD from this in the stereo and just chilling out. http://www.amazon.co.uk/100-Hits-Legends-Frank-Sinatra/dp/B002LZUKW0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1306259298&sr=8-1 100 Sinatra, 5 pounds. Frank is awesome, just has a great voice, very great pronunciation, you just hear every word. He's great

  3. Anyone seen this video yet? This girl has problems!

She then goes on to post this video:

She also has twitter where she calls herself the 'youtube queen'. What a psycho!
  4. That looks like a great collection, might keep an eye out for it.

Sinatra is just incredible, the music really inspires and with Roy, I like the hits. I don't know much of the other stuff he's done. Yeah James I'll keep a look out for too.

Alright I may fall asleep shortly so if I do, g'night!
  5. I feel like recording something singing in that Sinatra style.
  6. Hello!
  7. Totally epic and paved the way for discovery from that time on - other things to do with it I'm sure are debatable though. My favourite political video though is MLK's 'I Have A Dream'. That tears me up nearly time because when I see it and think about it, yep he had a dream. It's a sad pity that he was never able to truly live that dream.

Yeah my day's not been too bad. Was just listening to Will You Be There and realised it starts with the Beethoven's 9th Symphony. Incredible way to start a song.

Never watched that speech, I probably have to.

My day has been pretty bad, Spanish exam that was pretty difficult melted my brain, at least it felt like that.
  9. I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.

What did the exam consist of besides Spanish (that's if it did)?

Spanish only, we had one spanish exam on monday, which was an essay, and today we had one in reading comprehension.

I guess our teacher is a bit unsure about what grades to give us, because we've now had these two unprepared exams/tests.

My eyes did get a bit wet at the end of that speech. JFK sure was a great leader! Have you seen the "The Kennedys" TV show?
