  2. Thanks! "ChexMix"

Actually, I'll be honest with everyone. Lately (the past five months or so) I have not been listening to U2 at all. I've mainly been listening to Muse or Depeche Mode. However, that Hold Me soundcheck reminded me of what I wasn't listening to.... so, when I listened to Please again for the first time in so many months, I teared up. I got goosebumps all over again for just about every song. The last two and a half hours or so has actually been an emotional experience.

I really needed that playlist, in a deep way. I realized what Muse and Depeche were not offering me.

I love doing that, its happened like twice to me, youre going through a U2 dry spot and then your'e like wow, it makes you appreciate them so much more

And then you think about how much you missed listening to U2 and you end up regretting not listening to U2.

Exactly. It's like finding a new band, but you feel so at home, so right. That moment for me in "Please" reminded me of when I first heard the song, and I smelled the same smells (kind of weird, but I'm sure that you understand) and saw the same colors.

Exactly, the "I'm not a good fan!" feeling, when you start to see clips of fans holding up signs for the band and whatever else flash through your mind.

  10. Their first two albums are difficult to listen to but so great once you start to like them.
