1. Wow, if they really plan to record a new album after the tour, they'll need a lot of effects to make Bono sound listenable. I only got the chance to check Breathe and UV. Breathe sounded as flat as it did on most live gigs. UV sounds great, even though (or maybe because) Bono has his Sarajevo voice back.
  2. Just wait for a proper source/ audio rip. No need to get 64k mp3s from youtube.
  3. U2 performs four songs at Saturday Night Live

During an otherwise forgettable season premiere of Saturday Night Live, U2 performed three songs during the show and continued to play one more song afterward just for the NBC studio audience. Of note, U2 played three non-singles on a national TV show: "Breathe" was first, followed by a shortened version of "Moment of Surrender," and the show ended while U2 did "Ultraviolet" complete with Bono's laser-light jacket and the swinging microphone routine. After the broadcast ended, U2 played one more song -- "With or Without You" -- just for the studio audience.

I agree he does sound flat tonight
but he did not sound flat on the NJ fantactic show

No need to exaggerrate tho. The Sarajevo voice was way more "lost".

In my subjective opinion, it definitely has something to hear Bono hoarse.
  7. There are good rips available, i am still searching a 720p/1080 source though.

I don't - just compare the "You bury your treasure"-verse with LNOE from Sarajevo. Yes, he's that hoarse.

From the Zagreb shows on, it gets noticeable that he has problems in some songs - but I agree, that his hoarse voice adds something. Pobably said that a gazillion times now.
  9. Bono sounds hoarse, obviously too many shows played in a row.

His voice has been amazing this tour, I was blown away by what I've heard, and mostly by the shows I've been to personally. But on SNL, he really struggled. Breathe was fine, but MOS and UV seemed very hard for him. Great performances nevertheless. He seemed to be really into MOS.

Hope his voice recovers quickly and is back in form for he next show of the tour.
  10. impressed with what they played. Very impressed. Haven't heard it yet though
