1. an old beach clip from 2006 i think, its the most played song in my itunes library
  2. Take a look at this site.

Been following it for 2 years now.
The list with the songs have been over there for ages except Glastonbury and Return of the stingray guitar
Little by little you can mark the songs they bring out or play.

Tripoli, Soon, Winter, North Star, Every Breaking Wave..
  3. From the list I've got of outtakes and titles, I'm betting one of three to be played live next:

The Pilgrim And His Lack Of Progress
If I Could Live My Life Again
Lead Me In The Way I Should Go

    Which site do you mean?
  4. You guys really think they're gonna break out another new live one?
  5. They said they had new ones for Australia/NZ too Well Bono said it, but I'd say its likely Although he could be talking about the already played new songs (North Star, EBW etc) that probably over 90% of U2 concert goers will have heard
  6. Will not* have heard
  7. I think they'll play a new one in Australia and have an EP or maybe even an album out by the time they come to North America again. I'm quite happy they decided to postpone the shows! If I get to see a full band version of EBW or North Star, or even other new songs, I'll be a happy camper

I think they've got the songs entirely recorded but just waiting to see the reaction. If it comes out for Christmas that'll be a real surprise.
  9. wondering what album they're coming up with. don't think they'll call it songs of ascent. hope north star, ebw and glasto will be on it

Glastonbury doesn't have to be a specific song either relating to a place. Cedars Of Lebanon is about a war correspondent, and surely there's been more than one war - and there's been other songs about places in the past that haven't been specifically tied to one place, theoretically speaking.

As for the 'dance cum club' album (not that kind of club!) that Bono speaks so highly of, didn't they already put out nine songs from it on the Magnificent single? And then numerous times on the Crazy Tonight single, there were something like five remixes on that plus the iTunes and other downloadable ones that flooded the clubs - or so we like to think they did.

The rock one is the one I'm looking forward to. They haven't had a rock album since the 80s.
