1. Just a new Pop, Larry isn't happy with Spiderman (Passengers) and then there is a new album (Pop).
  2. Confusing stuff.
  3. Take a look at Radiohead. They are quietly working on a new album and then boom - they announce the new album is released this Saturday, with pre-orders starting now. Everything sold through their website. No RedOnes, no Mouses, no guys with extremely high self-esteem and extremely poor writing habits (edit: that should be "skills" ) who don't know band-member names, no McGuinnesses, no record labels, no bullshit. Just a "Thank you for waiting" note and plain music.

Seriously, is there anyone here who still believes a new U2 album is out this spring? I guess North Star is still done accoustically, isn't it? They didn't finish one song since November.
  4. I feel more convinced than ever than my "LOL" response to the new album question was justified.

From the South African Mail & Guardian:
There's also discussion about how Jay-Z is getting really interested in rock and roll and about how important Chuck D was, and still is, about what it's like working with Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois, and about some work U2 has done with DangerMouse. "Will it be on a new album?" the journalists chorus. "Maybe," shrugs Edge. "We'll see," says Adam Clayton.
  5. Can they be anymore vague? Or aggrivating?
  6. When they say "will it be on the new album?" are they talking about some kind of U2/Jay-Z collaborative song?
  7. Paul McGuinness : "New album ? Fuck it, the tour brings in a lot more cash !"

  8. I thought the same a few weeks ago, then I started to realize that it's probably the most plausible option
  9. I want decent news or nothing this is too confusing...

Anyway, 2011 is going to be a great year for music... Lots of great bands with new albums... R.E.M., Radiohead, Beady Eye, U2 and Coldplay and there are roumours of even Aerosmith and Metallica back in the writing spot!
  10. it seems so .. weak 2010 absolutely better 2011
may they think to delay the release in 2012 due to all this albums in 2011?
