    Thanks for your critique about Bonos voice. I found a much better way now to reduce the Tics without reducing Bonos Voice. Maybe i'm uploading the whole thing, when i've done it again.

    @Taper "ificould"

    I think in 2011 noone needs your iem's anymore.

    Tics are not that bad when the rest is good imho. And im sure those IEMs will be traded/downloaded by fanatics. In the end they are just another recording of another show in U2s catalogue.

    I'm curious--exactly what kind of processing are you doing?

    No, i hate the Tics, they are extremley loud in this iem's. So i'll do my best to remove them.

    I'm using different audio-Filters from different audio-Tools (Goldwave, WaveLab for example). Bonos Voice is more dark now, but now with bass and the tics are almost inaudible. This is what I need for the mix with an audience-source. I think this project will take a while, because I'm still not sure which audience-source i will take for the mix.
  4. So basically you're rolling off a lot of the high end?

    This can work because the metronome in the Adam/Larry/Terry feeds have a much higher frequency, so rolling off everything about 3k basically knocks it out. However, you're still destroying the overall sound of it IMO.

    Hence my opinion that Adam's feed is useless for a top mix...should only be used as a mix for other feeds. And it's really yucky with a scanner as the scanners don't really pull in any bass.
  5. So, i'm testing now. Please tell me, enough Bono? Note, the voice is in the both sources (iem+audience) not so good):

  6. impressive changes, sounds good to me !

    cheers arnoud
  7. I did stop this work. Germcevoy is right. The voice is not good. I can not get it better without too loud Tics. Maybe there will be better audience reordings available in the future that will push the voice. Thank you for your comments.
  8. Why aren't U2 selling at a (very) low price professional recordings of their shows?

  9. Sorry for the late answer. "Sounds good" you are right. But Bono's voice is for me like from a bad audience-recording. The problem is, that the voice in the iem is too quiet. The sounds from adam's side always most really good but the voice from bono is most time bad. Edge's side too loud guitar, no drums, bass good, edges voice too loud, bono too quiet. Bono's side, great voice, the full sound not soo good, but not too bad. I'm waiting for a mix of iem's. That would be fine... Ohhh, i hope you understand.

    So with no good audience (vocals here), it will make no sense to finish the London matrix. That's my opinion.
  10. Thats why you gotta just strap on some gear and record a couple feeds yourself.

    See the Pasadena mix for the way a nice iem matrix should sound when you have all of them.
  11. I have tested another settings with the iem's. No Tics but much better voice, i think. Do you like?
