1. Think fast, here is another, Sounds and vocals really great in my ears, without listenable Tics again:

    Magnificent, 2009-08-14: Link deleted
  2. Did you use a frequency bandstop or something like that?

Sounds good, but i think i personally like Voynets recording alone better.
  3. I used a Low/High-Pass-Filter to reduce the Tics. I think the M!les source is better than the voynet-source (both Days). It's too bad, that the voice in the iem's is so low. But sounds great, i think?

Combination of High and Low pass is comparable with a bandstop filter The matrix is good, but not one of your best to be honest

For some reason i just like the atmosphere of Voynet's recording better. But your matrix is a lot clearer
  5. My brother likes the sound more than the Paradena-Wireless-Matrix from sharbear. But anyway i'll stop the work on this definitive. I give up. Thanks for your comments.

  6. 100% Agree with that statement - they really need to do this - its something Bono said was going to happen when they joined forces with iTunes in 2004 - but nothing ever came of it, he said you would be able to DL the show the following day.

Oh and yes IEM....sorry just cheekaly slipping that in to keep with the topic

So basically you're just stripping the low and highs leaving only the midrange from the IEM?

That can work for an Adam feed although still less than optimal. Especially considering its from a very low end receiver, which already puts out a poor sounding feed. Adam has a different click sound than the rest of the band, and his click is mostly in the 3-6k range, so taking out those ranges can take out most of the click from his. However, he's still not using his feed for Bono's vocals.

And if your brother likes that sound more than the pasadena mix, then we've all got our own ears for things.

When correctly used you can use Lowpass and Highpass filters as a bandstop. Doesn't necessarily means he strips all but the midrange
