  3. Just went to the DVD release party in Amsterdam. Big screens on one of Amsterdam's main squares, lots of people on the streets watching and listening to four songs (they chose the best, including Crazy Tonight). Loud noise in Amsterdam, loved it

  5. Yes i know that this is the same song - but i;m curious about the edit used on vinyl version - does it have crowd noise at the end or it ends like "live"version played before each gig in 2009?

  8. Got my blu-ray and i totally agree with eyeswithpride. I don't know why everyone has been so harsh on the boys about this performance, they look and sound great! high-def picture and sound is incredible. Yes, some of the editing is pretty bad, but it's not as bad as it has been in the past. Adam sounds particularly awesome, and larry gets ample screen time. The BD live section looks promising, there's not much good stuff on there yet (a lot of it looks to be audienece recordings) but hopefully they'll start uploading some better, professional quality full tracks once they start touring again, it looks to me like they've got big plans for this.
    Overall I highly reccommend this release, however i get the feeling that some of the people who made up their minds about it before it even came out won't let themseleves enjoy it (or perhaps just won't admit how much they did enjoy it).


    One question though, why was bono being so mean to edge during UTEOTW?

    LMAO! I noticed that too...honestly, I think it was all in the rage/fun/energy of the performance..that's such a learned reflex of a powerful gesture, that when we was holding out his hand and pointing to him, not enough energy was really being released by Bono, so he fought and fought to let more out as he waited for the bridges. Made me actually laugh out loud to see that numerous flash of the finger.

    And the name's Matt, by the way- and thanks for siding with me!

    Can't wait for the BD live function as well, so a big +1 to that.

    YEAH and even before that, like right at the beginning of the song he walked up to him like he was about to satrt shoving him and trying to start a fight
    and yeh, people need to wait untill they see the thing before judging it. I had to stop reading this thread for a while because all of the negativity everyone had towards it almost made me not want to get it (almost)
    Fingers crossed on that BD live section, it has the potential to be truly awesome


  12. Blu Ray players have internet connection access, enabling U2 to post content on a server and you to access it if you have a Blu Ray player and the 360 Disc, allowing you to access their server. They'll supposedly be posting official content from 2010/2011 shows
