1. One of their best ever performances. I never get tired of listening to that one version. Streets from that night too is my single favorite performance by them, ever. Just pure raw power--amazing.
  2. Last night of the 20th anniversary. Do you think U2 will revive songs from this era? (U2gigs says God Part II and Love Rescue Me weren't played from then on)
  3. 20 years since the last Rotterdam gig. What a night. Best 40 ever to me..
  4. Best Desire+All Along, too.

I was going to do one of my infamous anniversary posts... but the extreme amout of snow out there has made me too lazy
  5. Great concerts, great tour, varied setlists..., "only" missed Heartland

How awesome would it be to replay these gigs on U2 Rockband or some other format.

dunt get me started on how badly i want a U2 Rockband, i would pay hundreds to be able to play sum live U2 songs on RB especially if they were from these point depot shows.

There are certainly some videotaped concert apart from Sidney, but it is better to have no illusions..

I think they'll use that opportunity to re-release the actual film Rattle and Hum, in HOPEFULLY a special edition with some of the outtakes, and that'll be the complete DVD portion. I can't see them NOT incorporating the film into the remaster (if they choose to remaster that one, or they could always just jump right to AB), and if that film is the DVD, I can't see them squeezing other random features onto it- it would just be too scatterbrained.
  9. Good one that january 10th was the last of the tour and not the new year's eve concert. Because january 10th was far better than new year's eve. Off all the ahoy' and Point gigs new year's eve was the worst in my opinion.

Rotterdam 7 and Dublin 27 aren't gems. The rest of them...
  11. They could release some of this on a dvd
Their must be some stuff to collect from that era
