  3. Reading some comments here and also on the SG forum, is it fair to say that PJ fans like Soundgarden more then Soundgarden fans like PJ?
  4. Are people who order the $100-deluxe version of King Animal receiving their copies? I know it's not "right," but I am hoping that the audio from that Hyde Park surfaces somewhere soon. That setlist is as good as it could possibly get (aside from the absence of LIke Suicide, mind you).

  6. Pretty interesting contrast between the NYC and TO shows. The first show has more BMF tunes while the second one had more songs from the Superunknown.

    Not sure about this,since Soundgarden werent a band for the last 16 years.Back in the '90s,both bands were kind of "joined at the hip",since Temple of the Dog and the Singles movie.....

    Also,EV said Cornell gave him his "shot" on the Hunger Strike vocal,so there is zero animosity between the bands,and I think their fans as well....

    I went for the cheapest shipping method and I believe they said it would take 7-10 (business) days.

    I think I'll break and listen to some of the on-line streams in the meantime.

    Any word on that DVD? I know I sound like a broken record but I really want to get the audio from it. It's a shame the only way to get it was through the big package.

    I was reading through the SG forums last week when I was preparing to get tickets and it did seem that many SG fans weren't PJ ones.
  11. I think alot of Soundgarden fans dont respect EV,because of his wild left wing politics,its a turn off,as is his hanging out with lefty buds Sean Penn and Tim Robbins....

    Soundgarden wisely never really got political,and their music is much heavier than PJ.

    IMO,King Animal is better than anything PJ have recorded since Yeild...and even Yeild was recorded like shit.Matt Cameron sounds great on this release,better than any of the PJ records he has played on in the last decade....example being...By Crooked Steps.....he is all over this release...

    Did you order this from their fanclub or something ?

    I oder all the time from DMB Warehouse,they get me the release same day as it is released...
