Thanks. I thought maybe the RoseBowl might have been the best. Though they do have the version of Beautiful Day that I want to use.

I think it would be a very cool idea. We could get some new songs as well as some of the highlights of the tour. Working with the Rattle And Hum tracklist I came up with this:

    1. Kingdom Of Your Love (Full Version)
    2. Breathe (Live)
    3. Ultraviolet (Light My Way) (Live)
    4. I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight (Remix) (Live)
    5. Get On Your Boots (Live) (this way we can get the cool entrance and the "newer" version)
    6. Momoment Of Surrender (Live)
    7. No Line On The Horizon (Live)
    8. Magnificent (Live)
    9. Winter (Brothers Version)
    10. Every Breaking Wave?
    11. Your Blue Room (Live or Studio... so long as it's the new version with Shinead O'Connor & the new lyrics)
    12. New Song
    13. New Song
    14. New Song
    15. New Song

I think this would be a perfect release. The new songs could be left-over tracks from No Line, or a few of the ones the guys have been working on as of late.

I think I'd call it something like U2: Let Me In The Sound

Not a bad idea at all. Even the title is good.

  3. this is a great idea. How come we havent thought of this before??

I would love to see this:

    1. Magnificent (live)
    2. Every Breaking Wave
    4. Beautiful Day/ In God´s Country (live)
    5. Vertigo (live)
    6. Go Crazy (live)
    7. New Song
    8. New Song
    9. No Line On The Horizon (live)
    10. Getr On Your Boots (live)
    11. New Song
    12. New Song
    13. Desmond Tutu Speech/One (live)
    14. Amazing Grace (live)
    15. Where The Streets Have No Name (live)
    16. Moment Of Surrender (single edit
    17. Winter (Brothers version)

I would call it "What Time Is It in The World?"

Yeah, the Desmond Tutu-speech should be there, absolutely.

  5. I am liking everyone's titles and their picks so far. I just created a playlist on my iTunes (but sadly there are a lack of neew/left-over songs so I had to improvise!)

    1. Kingdom Of Your Love
    2. Breathe (Live)
    3. No Line On The Horizon (Live)
    4. Get On Your Boots (Live)
    5. Magnificent (Live)
    6. Beautiful Day/In God's Country(snippet)/God Only Knows(snippet) (Live)
    7. Winter (Brothers Version)
    8. Your Blue Room (feat. Sinead O'Connor & Frank De Winne)
*9. No Line On The Horizon (2) (Didn't really have anything else)
    10. I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight (Remix) (Live)
*11. Winter (Linear Version) (Again, didn't have anything else)
    12. Amazing Grace
    13. Where The Sterrts Have No Name (Live)
    14. Ultraviolet (Light My Way) (Live)
    15. Mercy
    16. Moment Of Surrender (Live) (A later version, one that has Bono's "rap")

I also like the idea of Tutu's speech and perhaps One in there. And maybe the Zoo Baby's speech before Ultraviolet?

I am really liking the segue between the God Only Knows snippet, Winter and Your Blue Room.

I think that becomes too much of a live tour album, which I'm also not opposed to...but almost the entire thing is live. I think this would be more of an alternative to SOA, so we'd have to keep in mind that they'd have 3 or 4 songs they really wanted to release by this point, namely "Every Breaking Wave". I'm going to re-work my older tracklist along with what you've got and see what I come up with.

    1. Kingdom of Your Love
    2. Breathe (live)
    3. No Line on the Horizon (live) OR Magnificent (live)
    4. Get On Your Boots (live)
    5. Winter
    6. Every Breaking Wave
    7. Beautiful Day (live)
    8. NEW SONG
    9. NEW SONG
    10. Vertigo (live)
    11. Crazy Tonight Remix (live)
    12. Mercy
    13. Walk On/You'll Never Walk Alone (live) OR Tutu/One (live)
    14. Where the Streets Have No Name (live)
    15. Zoo Baby/Ultraviolet (Light my Way) (live)
    16. Moment of Surrender (live)
    17. NEW SONG

Ended up with the same amount of live material as you, but chose slightly differently and made the splices to new material in different places. LOVE the idea of calling it "What Time is it in the World?". Possibly even, "Where We Going?", since Bono opened Magnificent with either of those two sayings.

As far as track 13 goes, I really like "Walk On" from Barcelona 2, with the segue into "Streets" right after...it just packs a lot of punch, and they brought it for "Walk On" that night. It rocked. But I wouldn't mind "One" going in there either, as long as it was one with the "Hear us Coming" snippet at the end, with Amazing Grace leading into Streets. (They DID do "Hear Us Coming" on some of the 360 shows, correct? I can't remember if they did at the show I was at or not )

  8. They did in Totonto.

  9. Yeah, they did it at many shows - just not Sheffield, the highest quality show out there. They even did "Shine Like Stars" at a few shows, no?
