  3. I'm a Canadian but a Sabre fan (grew up in the Niagara Region) so the loss is BITTER-sweet for me. Ryan Miller truly is amazing - hopefully will win the Vezina (goalie of the year). So if "we're" going to choke in this tournament I hope you Yanks take it. Really!

    By the way, my coworkers (who are much more into hockey than I am) are going to be very depressed today. It should be quite amusing to watch.

    If we lose to Germany, half the country will have to sign up for grief counselling.

  7. Sven Kramer, disqualified due to his coaches actions. Everybody can make mistakes. Very disappointing. Kramer is the best by far, and i doubt anyone would deny that.

    Anyway Lee is amazing, how fast he is in his short career. But still this was a dramatic fuck up and Kramer deserved the gold.

    Hope Kramer and his coach can work it out Because it doesnt really matter any more who's fault it was, they need to get past it together. Probably not this day, month or season. But they have shared many successes

  9. The football squad find one way or the other to fuck up so one extra wouldnt mind.

    And its just fucked up that the fastest one by far goes for the outside lane, but is told (incorrectly we know now) to go to the inside lane.

    The rules are the rules, the decision was by the book. Another one would be controversial. But we all know who would have won, even if he took all 25 laps on the outside lane. It's a disappointing moment for the sport, but mainly for Kramer and Kemkers.

  11. Yes we do, but we have an arrogant bunch of players who think they can gear down after a win. A bad start is crucial for success in our case i think

  12. Sorry if this has been discussed- but who the hell does this Russian skater think he is, the one proclaiming himself the winner of the "Platinum" medal on his website because he feels like he skated better than the Gold medalist?
