Wow. I was expecting it to be quite close, but it really wasn't. Alonso starting 5th... I suppose that gives him an opportunity to payback for what Button done to him last year in Australia. Maybe Alonso could put Button into a spin this time

Oh, and HRT are not allowed to race. They were below the 107% (rule) time.

any bets on how long they will last this year? I say they won't make it to Monaco; having a car that slow is not just embarrising for the sport its also dangerous, even in Pratice and Qualifying

I think about Monaco too. It is possible that they will stay all year though which is, as you said, very dangerous.

I think it was a case of us being more wrong than right, no one really could predicted Petrov in the top 3 and Massa with a fastest lap. Saubers disqualification stops KieranF1 from taking the top spot whilst no one had either De Resta or Sutil in their top 10 to futher benefit from the re-arrange point scorers. Nice and tight for Sepang on the 10th April for race 2.
  4. Yeah, Massa doing the fastest lap was the biggest surprise for me ...

Sepang is always a nice one, I personally love it. Maybe my 3rd favorite circuit in the whole championship!:

Yeah i like aswell, of the circuits i would consider new (late nineties), thats by far the best, and the chance of rain every season always makes it a great race. I espeicially love the camber on the first corner.

Just for sake of making a list

    1: Spa
    2: Monaco
    3: Suzuka
    4: Sepang
    5: Silverstone

What's the meaning of "camber" ?

    My list:

    1 - Monaco
    2 - Suzuka
    3 - Cataluña or Sepang
    4 - Sepang or Cataluña
    5 - Korea

Painful to leave Monza and Nurburgring away
  7. Damn, I had originally picked Massa as the fastest lap but changed my mind at the last minute I will always go with my first instinct from now on!

Camber means the turn is on a slope, kinda like nascar tracks, a banked turn its probably a better way of putting it. Intereting to see you liked Korea, I can't say i'm a fan of any Tilke's track designs, though the new USA one looks interesting. I like nurburging aswell, better than Hockenhiem
  9. Aha, I know what you mean, it's just that I had never heard that word in English. For us it's called "peralte". Thanks

I like Korea just because its design... What a hell of a circuit!!

Of ocurse last year's inauguration race was a mess with all the rain, safety car, mud, etc etc... but it will be a great race this year, I predict

I'll hold you to that though i guess the track will actually be completely finished this time

Damn! I hope that Sauber disqualification gets turned around...

  12. I'm surprised Hamilton didn't get done for the underfloor issues he had, i know it was hardly an advantage but surely consistancy should be maintained based on races a few fews ago.

Out of interest, what did you think of the Brundle/Coulthard combo in the commentry box?
