1. Yes, a friend has a DVD9 burner at home, but we don't meet that much, and even less at home, so... Oh anyway, I guess I can watch it on my PC anyway, can't I? That's enough for the moment
  2. Yes, open the iso in VLC and should be good!

Another way is to mount the iso using Daemon Tools (or similar tool) and open it another player as DVD.

Hmm so it's normal that downloading a dvd will cost 24h and more then ?
Cause I've no idea how long it usually takes...
My downloadspeed is around 40/50 kbs, while uploadspeed is always between 100 and 200 kbs.

I only know that I've downloaded the same show once from torrents and once with megaupload and really don't understand why a single bootleg should take 3 to 4h to download with torrents while megaupload (or rapidshare or whatever) does it in a couple of minutes There has to something wrong, right ?

I really just don't seem to understand this torrent-thing and all the fuzz about it
But it'll probably be me again

(BTW this should probably be at the technology topic, I know, but now we're at it...)
  4. Well the 40/50 KB/s looks a bit low. Normally it goes faster and faster though.

On your profile page i see you are not 'Connectable', this means its hard for others to connect to you.
    Connectable: No

This is mostly an issue with your firewall and / or router. If you post this in the Tech topic i am sure some people can help you. I will try!

Torrents are handy, since they dont have 'broken links'. And its much (really much, much) cheaper than hosting the stuff ourself.
  5. Some really interesting and helpful stuff here, thanks a lot

I already thought there was something wrong with that not being connected and heard people who had problems with ports/firewalls etc so i'll have to see what I can do there too.

Just saw the multicam (downloaded from Megaupload) with Remy, Coen and others. It is spectacular, not enough words for it. This is the multicam of all multicams.

OMG, you are so right!!! By far the best multicam ever!! First time we watched a whole show during one of our U2 nights, that says all.....
  7. I have no idea why but i've been going at more than 100kbs for a couple of minutes now, which is more than the average downloades from this torrent (how many are that huh), so I think I'm fine now
    (Although it fluctuates a lot)

No I'll only have to work on that connectable thing.
Thanks again Chris, Sergio and Remy
  8. Yeah as i said, speed will generally go up during the process. Because you connect to more and more relevant peers. The proces will speed up when you are connectable, then others can initiate contact to you as well.

Dont give up on torrenting just yet Its quite hard to get it working properly. But there are huge advantages, it is easy to share files quickly around the net
  9. Is there a HD version expected?
  10. Yes BR in 2 weeks i think. Check the blog for more info
  11. For the record; Yesterday we couldnt find the Glastonbury Bonus. I just found out that you can press on the 360 logo in the main menu to start playing the bonus....
