Well according to your profile your ratio IS 0.1. You just passed the 10GB download checkpoint, thats why its looks so sudden. But the fact is that your ratio has been to low for a long time.
Ratio download restrictions
Ratio is your download versus upload ratio and exists to make sure that people do not only download, but also upload. You start with 5GB free download credit. After you've downloaded this 5GB the ratio system will kick in and verify if you upload enough. You need to have a ratio of at least 0.4. This means you can roughly download five torrents for each two you've uploaded. If your ratio is too low, you can't download any (but free-leech) torrents.
