  1. Lol, we're just discussing comedy. Even you should be able to acknowledge that it's pretty ridiculous to say that it's outrageous to use the term "war" and call it "war on women" because war is a too strong term... when "war on potatoes" is apparently ok.

    Tragically none of them were union thugs.

  7. Cant we just discuss something else? this has the potential to get nasty, and well we disagree on many things, we get along well enough that we should avoid a situation that can end with namecalling.

    Whats the status of organized labor in your country? Here there popularity is at an all time low.
  8. Well, unions are pretty big and it feels like the system is working well. It rarely leads to any insane stuff like it seems to do in other countries. However... unions do have less members than they used to... often I think because there are young people who don't understand what it is.
  9. I America they have lost popularity due to increased corruption on there part, and the fact that in most places working conditions are good enough that they are redundant.

    Only 1 out of 10 Americans who isn't in a union wants to be in one.
  10. Also the amount of Americans for Right to Work laws are at an all time high.
  11. Well... your country has been hit a lot harder than mine by the economic crisis. Therefore I guess you could call the US a bit unstable at the moment. Sweden's economy is one of those that has fared the best lately. I won't say that the economic crisis hasn't affected Sweden, because it has. And the economy isn't totally stable. But I sure don't feel a sense of crisis.
