1. I had luck to attend to lecture by dr. Michael Hannahan on theme 'Obama v Romney: How do Americans Disagree?'. He spent few days on my college and it was very interesting insight into American politics and current elections.

He also worked for Romney in past but now thinks that Obama is closer to winning.
  2. Obama or Romney, who cares, won't change much for non-USA citizens.
  3. In social sciences we've met a few interesting characters lately (all played by our awesome teacher who could be the best teacher I've ever had): Lars Liberal, Carl Conservative and today Sven Socialist. I don't think Sven liked me that much.
  4. I love how all country's have there generic names.
  5. Well, I think those were pretty much just names that started with the right letter. Sven Svensson would be a very generic Swede though. Like everyone in your country is named Joe. It's not a very popular name at the moment though.

You may like to know one of my disagreements with Joe was on unions which he seemed to want to be mandatory.
That's something I don't like... I think the idea of unions can be good, but a union can also be badly managed and then workers shouldn't have to join. If a union is good pretty much everyone will join, but if it's bad, no. A bit like a product on the free market.

  6. Do you really think so? I think a change in the POTUS chair is the biggest geopolitical change than can happen.
  7. Well to be honest, not much has changed since Bush for me and many others around the world. The USA's foreign policy will always be based on Divide and Conquer.

Other countries shouldn't care, by caring so much about what the USA does we make our selves more dependent. The elections are for the citizens of the USA, and ideally they should vote be based primarily on domestic concerns.
  8. that was also the thought in Europe in the 30's i guess
  9. that was also the thought in Europe in the late 20's
  10. Hahaha, what has conquering the whole europe has to do with meddling less with foreign countries? World would be a better place if countries let other countries be.

What has changed the last 10 years in Iraq or Afghanistan? People are more divided and more of them are injured or killed than before. You can't force change upon a nation, change has to come from the nation it self.

And I do think the EU should care less about the USA, why should we share banking information of you and me with the USA? Nothing to hide? That is what Jews thought while registering themselves as Jews before the war.

Of course I do have an opinion about the elections, my vote would go to Obama.

  11. in such a way something has to do with countries that didn't care less of what was happening in Germany

this is a very good statement .. but it sounds a bit ironic in a USA context
  12. I can see the irony
