By the way, I renamed the topic

That's true. One being my favourite U2 song is as predictable and mainstream as it gets.

Yeah, your definitely not like me - Apart from my first sentence, I was actually referring to Sergio not you

No, I like One too, that's not my point - I mean saying that the study doesn't mean anything is fairly usual point of view - ie. I haven't seen anything in your posts which is controversial - unlike say mine or Aarons.

I was being somewhat tongue in cheek there, to rain on Sergios parade.
So, do you mean you would have also said that being a non-native English speaker makes it hard to tell intelligence or that Sergio doesn't come across as intelligent in his posts? (i'm guessing you meant the former)

Either way, it's pretty funny how even non-regulars have picked up on it.

I say the now somewhat infamous cd vs vinyl rant was quite controversial, but I don't try to make controversial posts I just say how I feel.

Yes, It makes it hard to tell his intelligence. I wouldn't ever say that he doesn't come across as intelligent in his posts and I wouldn't say that to anyone.

OHHHH- its the vinyl vs CD thing. OK, that is sorta funny cos I was going on about lossless vs lossy some months back.
But I agree with you on that -vinyl is lower quality than CD - otherwise they wouldnt have invented the CD (or laserdisc) now would they. People think vinyl sounds better because it produces a slightly distorted 'warm' sound, much like how tube amps sound better than sterile, digital ones.
In reality the CD actually has the more accurate representation of the source audio. The only other thing I can think of that vinyl might have over CDs is that vinyls are not as compressed as audio CDs these days which tend to suffer from clipping.
