    Point is that it is very easy to put labels like conservatist, socialist, marxist, liberal on people. But it is very shortsighted as well. Life is not so clean that everything fits in a box. Imho those labels are only used to divide people.

  4. Having heard Chris Christie in his The Daily Show interview, he'd probably disagree with you. He pretty much agreed that all the labeling in US politics makes it hard to cooperate.

    Well, then doing it your way not much will get done unless the house, the senate and the president are held by the same party... Government would be extremely dysfunctional.

    Even when those are all held by the same party, the gov still don't get much done. Why should we pretend there are not major diffrences between our beliefs?

    In any case, large numbers of libs are very comfortable with the idea of Obama being a life long dictator. Its fucking scary.
