But let's go back on topic. Here's the thing: I don't believe in Bin Laden. I don't believe that one guy, one guy was smarter than this:

I think that US just randomly picked one terrorist and said: 'Ok, he's gonna be our ultimate target for the next x number of years. Remember, USA invaded two countries because of that guy.

In order to invade someone or something, you need to have a symbol, someone very bad so that people will say: 'Ok, let's get that bastard no matter what!'.

Iraq: 105.000 dead civilians. Because of one man, or because of this:

so when are you saying that the US began to put all the blame on him?

I think that the USA has gone to far, but I agree with them that the some parts of the Middle-East arent to be trust and if there isnt a diplomatic solution you have to do something to stop them. If you look at Iran, I just dont trust that country and their president Ahmadinejad.

Ofcourse I hope that we all over the world will live in peace but Im afraid that that never gonna happen.

also north korea.. that dictatorship over there is scary - especially cause their links with china

Certainly agree with your last sentence. But just because other terrorist acts/groups may have less recent activity to condemn, don't think that their effects were or are any less felt, even today.

    Haha

i dunt know if this will change anything though, for every leader that falls (if he even was the leader) theres 10 more that want to take their place.

Indeed, hence the analogy of the hydra that's being bandied about - very apt, must say. It's a war that can never be won and probably will never end, not without a dramatic global change in ideologies at any rate.

  7. There's a case to suggest it's far more hype than anything else - sure, there may feel like a threat of some note from Kim Jong-Il and his regime, but they're virtually bankrupt and very much in lieu to the Chinese who are increasingly looking to buddy up with the West, and as a result are putting less and less into DPRK - if China were to withdraw their backing of Jong-Il, they'd be truly fucked. You can never rule out the acts of a desperate man who wants to make a scene, but I get the impression from what I've come across that the supposed threat of DPRK is less than made out.
  8. Yogi, have you ever been to the US? If not, you should come over here, immediately take a trip to any DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) office and spend 5 minutes there trying to get something done. I promise you that 5 minutes in that government-run office will convince you that our government is not capable of a 10+ year conspiracy, given the insane levels of incompetancy, laziness, and disregard for anything or anyone you'd see there. You're giving the US government WAAAAAY too much credit with all this silly conspiracy/inside job talk.

Clap, clap, clap. Post of the year.

Sorry. Yes, I forgot that Hitler, Ceaucescu, Mussolini, Franco, Tito, Pol Pot, Pinochet and Stalin were ALL muslim.

There is so much sad truth to that whole paragraph that it makes me wonder what we're doing with ourselves most of the time.

Despite that, I love my country, flaws and all.

don't get me wrong, i have nothing against islam and muslim people - quite often they are the nicest people out - but i do hate that stinking muslim and all those scumbags who call themselves al qaeda
to the troops and the people behind this victory for the west

you really do seem to come out with some of the most brainless, insensitive, thoughtless, uneducated comments don't you.... but hey you're obviously not the cleverest person around so i guess you don't really know any better....

anyway my thoughts on the death of osama binliner are obviously i'm glad he's dead but it counts for nothing really as his actions, both directly and indirectly have lead to the deaths of thousands and thousands of good and innocent people over the last ten years. and then obviously there will be countless muslim radicals lining up, ready to step into his shoes...

the so called 'war on terror' is 100% non winnable...
