Monopoly? Of course not. But if you study something for years then you know and understand some things better.

Let me give you perfect example. When you think of Switzerland you always think of peaceful little country that was always neutral and rich because of banks.

Then, I will tell you about the other side of the coin: Switzerland financed 2/3 of Hitlers war plan. When Hitler spent all his money, he had to sell his national gold to get more money. Nobody wanted to buy it. So Switzerland did. They were making war equipment for his army, optics and stuff like that. They closed their borders only for Jews. They blocked bank accounts of all Jewish people.

When Hitler became short with resources, nobody would sell him any. So Switzerland would buy them for him. SAD sold fuel to Switzerland during WWII thinking it was really for Switzerland. Guess what, Switzerland was buying it for the Third Reich.

Switzerland is one of the most responsible counties for Hitlers success in killing millions of people. And yet, when you think of Switzerland, you think of, as I said, little neutral country that never went into war and never did any harm to anyone.

3 - Damn. The U2start Politics topic is going to need another shutdown again...

    I hate being right.

    +1
  4. I must admit i didnt know that story, but everyone can understand you cant be neutral if hell breaks lose all around you without paying the bill one way or the other. In this way nothing has really changed, we still build en sell weapons to questionable people.

Its much easier to talk about the past than the current though. In this information age we get true and false info all the time. Also there is info that is never shared at all. So mostly i try to avoid picking sides unless really necessary.

  5. Well I'm just trying to say here on this topic (look at Switzerland example above) that you shouldn't take politics too serious. Everything that happens happens for a reason, and it happens because somebody wanted it. It's all like a very bad puppet-show.

@wtshnnfb01: we should drink vodka together sometimes, like true comrades!

  6. A vodka called Kalashnikov??? So appropiate for the Bin Laden's day...
