I'm also a musician, ciritcal of the sound, but it was fantastic. The 2006 Melbourne show had awful sound and that 2CD bootleg on Godfather records, conveys that. I have also been been collecting U2 since 1983 and have one of the biggest U2 bootleg collections in Australia (LP'S and professional CDS/DVDS some 300+ items, not inclduing tapes/cdr's or flac files). We don't get to see U2 as often as the rest of the World, so I am for sure as happy as a pig in shit that they came here!!

    End transmission!!!!

I was there on the Wednesday night and it was a great show. In A Little While and Boots surprised me.

The sound wasn't that good for the first four songs but then it later got a bit better.
  2. They're rotating some songs....I like that

    Bravo!
  4. Hi,
I went to both nights, the first night I took my family and sat in the stands and was just in awe of how 4 guys can give out so much energy.
This was my kids first concert, they enjoyed the night and saw a different side of my wife and I.
I enjoyed the whole concert my thanks for Bad as I thought I would never see that live again.
The second concert I got a ticket for GA of ebay for $50 and got there about 6pm and was so suprised that I got in the inner circle, so close and the energy was great. Bono was over me in City yelling to group of people watching from there apartment. He told them to flick there lights on and off if they could here him, which they did. Great Stuff!
I never judge the set list or what the crowd does I am just thankful I had the chance to be there again and I make sure I take it all in and enjoy it, which I must of did as I can't talk or walk today.
If this is the last time I see U2 live I am greatful of been given a chance to see the great band ever!

Hehehe! He did the same thing in Toronto. It was pretty funny.

  10. That first video gave me goosebumps at the end. I completely LOVE that feeling of joy, adrenaline, happiness and everything else mixed up that one has got when you finally settle your feet after running (or walking, in your case) 80 meters, take a deep breathe, and look the fucking awesome spot that you've got to see the show. Love love love it.
